I need suggestions for clinics that will treat someone without insurance. I know RapidMed is popular on here, will they?

Yes I second that comment with Michele Herbst Hampton the best place anyone without insurance can go to close by is PRIMARY CARE CLINIC... This office is a non profit location not of the government. Their prices are at COST.. Usually u can leave with paying about $60 for an office visit, exam, blood work and other labs. Like Michelle stated the labs are about $10... Very very practical!!! I will even share the phone number with u so you can all pass it around to people that need to see a doctor without paying hundreds... 972♥221♥6005.. If you are on a budget they even will send u to a dental office, xrays and a office that offers breast exams possibly FREE of charge and all the prescriptions are usually on the $4.00 list at Walmart, Sams and Kroger any other pharmacy charges retail.. Always call around for prices.. If you are on a expensive prescription they will even fill out an application for you to obtain a reduced rate or FREE meds for a year by contacting the Pharmaceutical that makes the meds.. This is for people that may not be employed, have a low income and if employed they request a copy of your income tax return.. Please feel free to PM me of u need more info.. Also the CCA has a program for people without insurance. They also have a dental program as well. When volunteering I learn alot of info to pass along to others.. Buena Suerte

Renee Herndon Skarda.. Yes u could call that number above and ask for a dentist that they refer their patients to. I am sure they can give u the number. There is also a dental office at the CCA that u may qualify to see. I believe UNT has a intern dental clinic and Baylor of Dallas off Gaston Ave in Dallas also has a clinic. Some of these don't do major work and some may have a waiting list. Feel free to ask anymore questions if needed. BLESSINGS!!

I want to mention also for anyone who doesn't qualify for Care Credit, there is something called iCare Financial that does not require a credit check. You have to find someone who takes it. Basically, they verify your income by taking a snapshot of your checking account to make sure you can afford the payments and you have to have a debit card attached to a checking account and another form of payment as a backup such as another debit card or a credit card. You must have some form of U.S. issued ID too.
Renee S. replied:
If there is time, Care Credit is great if they accept it. Apply online and get instant answer.

I'm looking for a good vascular surgeon in the area. Anyone know of one? And are these Vein Clinics that are popping up everywhere legit? Would I get the same treatment...
Monica K. replied:
I went to Dr. Pringle in Carrollton to have a few spider veins treated, and i felt like he was incredibly informative, and I will definitely go back to see him for any further issues.
Kimberly A. replied:
Dr. Handley at Flower Mound Vein Center. I had laser procedures on both legs. They will do a full assessment on your veins and submit to insurance to see if you will be covered.
Camilla M. replied:
My husband used Dr. Handley at Flower Mound Vein Center. His varicose veins were horrible and I had a heck of a time convincing him to go. Dr. Handley was awesome. My daughter even went to him. I could show a picture of the doctor pulling a vein out of my husband's leg but don't want to gross people out. Our insurance covered it.
Our recommendation is to avoid Care Now at all costs. We have had several back to back bad visits there. Avoid if you are able. There are many other better urgent...

Elite ER is phenomenal
Leslie R. replied:
Rapid Med has been great the two times I had to go.
Shawna L. replied:
I love Rapid Med. but not the wait. I've been to the Care Now on Main Street & had decent experiences every time. But I'm simply going in for shots to get rid of migraine so nothing to diagnose, just a simple shot.
Amy H. replied:
I have had terrible experiences at Care Now. I have been there twice. Avoid at all costs.
