You definitely don't need a CPA. Check out the links to doing your taxes yourself.
It's less complicated than you think. Most people just copy the numbers off a form into their tax software. Given the higher standard deduction, you likely won't even need to look at any receipts or do anything tricky
Give filing yourself an honest try, if you can't figure it out, look to your tax software and googlr for help. If you still can't figure it out, consider going to
A free tax prep sites in many communities. They are called VITA , though the acronym escapes me. I ran a site a few years ago. The training was excellent, the volunteers were outstanding, and it was a free service.
Just Google "free tax prep" and your community name
