It's less complicated than you think. Most people just copy the numbers off a form into their tax software. Given the higher standard deduction, you likely won't even need to look at any receipts or do anything tricky

A free tax prep sites in many communities. They are called VITA , though the acronym escapes me. I ran a site a few years ago. The training was excellent, the volunteers were outstanding, and it was a free service.
Just Google "free tax prep" and your community name
