Hey Louisville Facebook Friends- Anyone have any great DJ, Florist, and/or Photographer recommendations? I think we have an idea of who we want, but just trying to be...
Laura H. replied:
That awesome photographer I was talking about is Theresa Spalding and her website is www.envyphotography.net
Mike C. replied:
My uncle has a great DJ biz. http://audiomotionproductions.com/ Also, I know a good photographer that's related.
Allie M. replied:
Lang Thomas Leichhardt did our wedding- he and his wife are amazing! Mickie Winters is also amazing- she did our engagement photos and does some of Dave's family photos!
Kelly H. replied:
We were OBSESSED with Todd Pellowe for a photographer!! You know how into researching my mom is and he is seriously amazing!! He likes to "tell a story" with pictures instead of getting the typical fake posed pictures and captures the special moments that a lot of people could miss. If plane tickets weren't ridiculously expensive we would've flown him out to Maui to do ours!!
Jaclyn M. replied:
I used Lizzie Loo photography. She was awesome! I also used DJ Woody as our DJ. His company is named entertainment essentials. They were great and very organized!
Ty G. replied:
Blue Smith for a D.J
Kennisha F. replied:
I recommend DJ Quinton DjJohnq Johnson for a DJ, Cara Pinotti from Broadway Florist, and Once Upon A Flash Photography. I heard they were supposed to have a KILLER special starting tomorrow. Ask Katie Rach about it.
Kelly H. replied:
Oh yeah...Lang Thomas taught Todd Pellowe (or something) and they used to work together so they have similar styles. You should definitely check out his website and watch his video! My mom and I were crying when he showed us a slideshow of a strangers wedding haha
Amanda C. replied:
Jaclyn Journey and Whitney Neal are a fab duo for flowers & photography!!

Looking for wedding DJ in Lexington Hey guys, so like the title says I'm looking for a wedding DJ in town and having a little trouble. We aren't looking for anything too...
yogurtman replied:
Bluegrass Beatwww.bluegrassbeat.com. They are the best.
HirryMcSkirry replied:
Agency Entertainment is located in Georgetown, but they will DJ in Lexington. A friend of mine owns the business and is great. He also has a package that includes photography and videography for ceremony and reception. I've helped with some of his jobs and they are always fun! He's a good guy, too! I don't really know about the pricing though, but you can just Google search Agency Entertainment and find his website which has more info!

I have a buddy that's a wedding dj. He goes by All Music DJ. Pretty sure he has a Facebook page. Edit: here ya go https://www.facebook.com/All-Music-DJ-44158488266/
Hey, if anyone out there in the greater Kentucky area is looking for a dj and or mc for any event, I recommend Rus Valenzuela. He did an excellent job at my reception.
Lexington ladies: Any suggestions for a wedding florist and DJ for the reception? I'm pretty clueless about both!
Kelley B. replied:
Patrick Howard florist:)
Heather N. replied:
I used Ivory Rose- she did a great job and was reasonably priced. Not sure what the price difference would be but my favorite florist in town to receive flowers from is E Stephen Hein- the arrangements are always beautiful but I'm not sure how affordable all of your wedding flowers would be from them.
Courtney H. replied:
Patrick Howard with P.G.Howard Designs!!: ) He's my uncle some I'm a little bias, but he does AMAZING work!
Mandy B. replied:
Stems is pretty great and reasonable. Check with Katie Eiserman for her contact.
Ashley M. replied:
Do you have a photographer yet? If not, I HIGHLY recommend Kelsey Malicote. I can't tag their business for some reason but you can search them - Malicote Photography. They did my sister Emily's wedding if you haven't seen those pics. I think you are friends with her on FB right? Since they did Emily's wedding I've used them for our family and Harper's one year photos!
Shena S. replied:
The florist I'm using for my wedding is wonderfully Doug Smith Designs
Jennifer N. replied:
I used Tigers Dj services! He was amazing and great with the guests. I also used Jeannie Gorrell for my florist. She just works out of her home. Loved the flowers she did for my wedding. Hope this helps!
Diane M. replied:
Huge shoutout for Belair Florist in Versailles -- I would be happy to introduce you to the owner, Lynn Pennington. She is phenomenal, and she will take care of everything. In fact, I think I just introduced you to her via Facebook.:)
Good afternoon WEP Members - We have someone looking for a DJ for their holiday party at Keeneland on December 5, 2015. Please PM me if you are available. Thank you.
I DO NOT NEED DIFFERENT IDEAS ON IDEAS OR LECTURES OF TATTOO PERMANENCE. I HAVE 19 TATTOOS ALREADY INCLUDING 3 PORTRAITS OF CELEBRITIES, ALL MUSICALLY RELATED. This is...
Mandy M. replied:
So, my first question is: do you really want the face of some random band member on your body and linked to your horse? As someone with several tatts already, you know these are permanent and typically carry some significance. I understand the connection for you but if it's not a band that resonates with you or your horse, will you be able to draw the connection 20+ yrs from now or will it be "this thing you did because at the time..."? I only have 3 tatts but have a long list of ones I want to get. I personally wouldn't randomly put the face of someone on me. I'd find another connection. Song lyrics (which I have) or a band logo (which I also have) or something else creative that tells the story without having to explain "this is X, the singer of band Y, and I did this because of Z". But if you are set on the face then get Fall Out Boy since that is a truer connection for your riding.
