For my Postpartum Doula assignment I am having to put together a list of resources for mothers. I need to add a psychiatrist or a psychologist to my list. Any Christian...

Michael Dibiasie is AWESOME, but he doesn't specialize in postpartum if you're looking for that.

You might want to call Southland Christian Church or other large churches. I know that Southland used to have a counseling coordinator who had a list of professionals they used to refer people.
I am considering having a doula during the birth of our sweet pea :) What have been others experiences? Who would you recommend?
Stephanie B. replied:
Yeah I was gonna say Charley Caudill too:)
Vannah B. replied:
Do it! Doulas are THE best! Also, if you want a natural birth (which is the best for baby and mama and if you prepare it is NOT as hard as if you had not prepared. I'm speaking from the experience of the natural drug free painless birth of my child) you should look into attending a Bradley Method class. I credit Bradley for 90% of the fact I had an easy birth. (I am studying to be a doula.)

A lot of my friends have suggested Hypno Babies for natural, drug free births. I also know a great midwife who delivered both of her babies naturally at home, drug free, if you'd like her number: )
If any of my MANY pregnant friends delivering in Lexington are looking for a doula, I highly recommend Charley Caudill! She's pretty much amazing and also a massage...
