Ok Mommys .... I need to know about preschool in Letcher County. Opinions...suggestions... Dates.. Everything.

The pre schools are ran by LKLP so it's their rules not Letcher Co Boards
Mendy B. replied:
Call the board first and ask for Regina Brown. She is the contact there and would know who else you need to talk to.

Yeah we had my little 3 year old cousin (my mom has custody) there for the last year and a half and they are wonderful! Very good on helping with any issues (behavioral, emotional, speech, etc). Amber Sturgill was his teacher and all the kids love her. Plus they have lots of aides that help. They run buses too. It's all day instead of half a day. They also have a nap time each day. I can't say enough good things about them bc Noah had a lot of things going on when we got him and it's amazing how far he has came. Candy McCown Smith can tell you about it too bc Marley was in Noahs class and Candy was pleased with them too.

Providence Montessori has the BEST toddler program Go check it out. You will fall in love with the teachers, the facilities and the program. They are so nurturing and on the ball. The place is so clean and kid friendly. Jennifer Lynn is the head teacher. They have half days and all day. My boys both attended and it was a super experience. My mind was at ease knowing where they were and who they were with.

We have Kai at Southern Preschool and Daycare and Elena at Capital Day School. No complaints with either.

Tucker went to Faith Lutheran Church Childcare on Tates Creek. After a brief stint at Sts. Peter and Paul (which I did not like) we moved Matty to Faith as well. It's a wonderful place. Not the fanciest, but they love your kids and that's really all th...See More

I love my Erin Condren Life Planner. Expensive but worth every penny IMO. And I also LOVE Jesus Calling! My favorite devotional…I've read it for like 3 years in a row now.

Jesus Calling -- Takes only one minute to read each days devotional but yet is written from the perspective of Jesus actually speaking directly to you -- It's neat!
Ok so this weekend it has become apparent that Patrick needs to go to preschool. He asked to learn math. Anyone have any suggestions on a good preschools.
Julie B. replied:
Anne goes to a great one (Tom went there), St. John's Lutheran Preschool on Pasadena between Clays Mill and Nicholasville. Tuition is reasonable, and they have 3 yo, 4 yo, and K-readiness. Message me for other more specific details

Growing Together was great. And it's close to Lexmark.
G's preschool is entirely vegetarian...any of my veggie or veggie friendly mommas have some good lunch suggestions. I don't want to always do hummus or edamame so..ideas?
Daena W. replied:
Can you do cottage cheese, boiled eggs, or anything like that? Or is it vegan and you can't send dairy? Daniel is pretty much vegetarian and I've always sent cheese, carrots, crackers, boiled eggs, cheese sticks, yogurt sticks (Whole Foods has a good one) and stuff like that.
Dori G. replied:
Daena Wilds...I can bring dairy and eggs, I'll try some of those ideas. I've never given g boiled eggs but, he may like them! Monica Denny Ward...where do you get the sun butter? The school suggested it too! Joyce Merritt..I didn't know Suzanne was a full vegan, I will definitely give her a buzz!
