Mr. Hubbard is on the right track, from what I know. I don't have any more details either, but I think that is the case.
Does anyone remember a restaurant that was by railroad tracks, and the restaurant itself was a railroad car????? Great food and so much fun to be in that "car" eating!

Does anyone remember a restaurant downtown where the Enterprise Building is, I believe, called the Blue Note?
Jan R. replied:
Yes, my mother & step dad owned if for a few years. Auto Owners was upstairs. Corner of Mkt, & Elizabeth. Really good breakfast & lunch.
Sharon G. replied:
My grandmother and step grandfather owned it for awhile. Babe (Wilma) and Jack Reis.....they both worked there. I loved going there to eat, my grandma worked as a waitress at Ralph's prior to owning the Blue Note.
Looking for images of the Hudson Cafe / lunch / Hudson Black Angus / Keeng Wha Chinese restaurant, etc. (234 N. Main). Anyone have any connections?
Bob C. replied:
Here's a little excerpt about S.K.Krauss,who built the building: The close confinement of the studio and contact with chemicals impaired the health of Mr. Krauss, and, disposing of his interests to Mr. Ebersole, for some six months he enjoyed the relaxation of travel. He has very extensive property interests, and has dealt in both city and county real estate for a number of years. About this time Mr. Krauss erected what is one of the finest and best located business blocks in the city. It is a three-story and basement brick structure, 25 by 205 feet in dimensions, at No. 234 North Main Street, with offices and store rooms below, and flats above.
