We had to take our dog to have emergency surgery during the last snow storm. Our vet was closed. We ended up at Chatfield Animal Hospital and they are great!
We are looking for a new vet for our Oscar needs a doc visit. Who do you use in the Littleton area?

Mary A. replied:
We love Dr. Tremblay. She's in the Safeway shopping center at Kipling and Belleview. Awesome. But they're closed on Thursdays. http://www.littletonpawsanimalhospital.vetsuite.com/Templates/Clean.aspx

Stockton Pet Hospital, on Wadsworth, across from Alameda High School. Dr Bill is the best. Dr Lisa is ok too. Deer Creek is good but more expensive.

We use a guy, Dr. G. he is out in Lakewood, the place is a dump, but man is he nice. He ships me Woody's pain pills for free because they charge so much at pharmacy. He also gave me his cell phone number, he always answers when I call. one day a week he comes to greenwood village. Your pet could literally have surgery and it would be like $100. Great guy. the receptionist not so nice, but I just deal directly with him and he will see us anytime.
Does anyone know who to call about an injured wild bird? It got in my house and was flying around before one of my animals caught it. in the process the bird broke its...
Looking for a recommendation of a good vet in Highlands Ranch area. One that doesn't push excessive vaccines, early spay/neuter etc.
Amanda V. replied:
Dr Matt Fordham at VCA Mountainview...he has been out vet for the past 11+ years and is amazing (and has a vast network of amazing specialists/resources, too).
Sally M. replied:
Tamra - Plum Creek Vet in Castle Rock - not that far from HR.
Bailey B. replied:
As a pre vet student, I absolutely love Dr Fordham! He is extremely easy to talk to and great to work with. I have a lot of respect for him as an employee and as a client. He is the role model for the kind of veterinarian I hope to be one day.
Lesa F. replied:
Two recommendations: Dr. David Roberts@Plum Creek / Dr.'s Kathy or Deb at Brooklyn's Animal Hospital. Both in Castle Rock.
Ok, I'm "breaking down" with frustration... My greyhound, Eddie, is cursed with that darn corn-virus that only greyhounds get. It's in his front left paw (one pad) and...

Hi all! I just moved here from Florida with my two greyhounds. Can anyone recommend a good greyhound vet in Denver (Park Hill)? Also, I could use some advice on the dry...
Chris B. replied:
Hi, Julie! Welcome to CO and we moved back here from FL last year. In the Park Hill area (we lived in Stapleton for 4 years), we highly recommend Belcaro Animal Hospital on Leetsdale and Dr. Mike Herman is fantastic! The Stapleton Dog Park is a very nice area for romping and plenty of room for your greys to get their zoomies. CGA has some nice fall coats for sale at our online store: www.greyhoundadoption.com/shop and as for the dry skin for humans and hounds, I have yet to find a solution for the humans, but our FL girls seemed to adjust much more quickly than their mom.:)
Just lost my greyhound vet due to forced office closure by FastTracks! Any recommendations for grey-savvy vets by I-70 and I-225? Thanks in advance!
Colorado A. replied:
I don't live in that part of Denver and can't really recommend anyone. You can find a list of vets that work with us on our website. But to find more personal recommendations, you might want to join the CGA e-group and post the question there. I'm sure some members will speak up about their experiences. Links to both of these can be found here: http://www.greyhoundadoption.com/resources

How awful....so very sorry. I hope you all heal quickly from the physical and emotional trauma. I have no first-hand knowledge of good lawyer for this. Try posting to the CGA Yahoo group; I think you'll get more response there: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/COGreyhoundAdoption/info
