We had a roof put on this year by Right Way Home Services. I'm sure they are, or would be thrilled I mentioned their name. They did a good job at a fair price and were done in one day. You don't want tarps all over your roof for weeks. I think a license and insurance are important, for liability sake. Check with Livonia building Dept. and they should have names of roofers that have done work in this area.

I don't know about the Livonia area. We had Lyster Exteriors come out a few months ago for a leak. They replaced some shingles and resealed the flashing around the fireplace. Despite an estimate of a couple weeks, they still sent somebody out and di d it within a couple days. That's the Kalamazoo area though. If it's flashing that's leaking, they can probably caulk it to prevent further leaks, although if there's ice frozen under it, that might be problematic. If you can get someone out for an estimate, make sure you ask about that.
