I'll add Harrison Cameras and West Yorkshire Cameras to the list as well. Neither are specialty Leica dealers but they both tend to carry a decent amount of used Leica gear, and Harrison cameras offers some new Leica gear as well. Both have pretty good prices on used items, though obviously what they have in stock is subject to change

I got my 50 Summicron from a random person on eBay, but I wouldn't be too concerned about buying other lenses on eBay. I'd say there are fewer potential hidden flaws with lenses than there are with bodies - you can tell what you've bought pretty quickly. In fact I don't think I've ever bought a bad lens on eBay for any system.

Not UK-based but here in the states B&H photo video in New York City is very well regarded. I’m sure they ship internationally. Good prices and very easy to work with.

The Photographers Gallery off Oxford Street has a great shop in it with loads of different film https://thephotographersgallery.org.uk/ Also, Mr Cad in Victoria has a great selection http://www.mrcad.co.uk/

Eyeculture (https://www.eyeculture.co.uk/) usually have a great selection of film, they usually stock Portra when I call. They also do scanning and printing, and generally seem like they know what they're doing. Near Bethnal Green. Awhile back I bought some Velvia (they had 50 and 100) and Portra 400 here: https://www.lcegroup.co.uk/ Nice wide selection of film! Near Charing Cross.

Yeah, couple of shops on Tottenham Court Road, I think. Another place near Euston station. What are you after?
south_west_trains replied:
If you're central in the west-end, near to Soho, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road, you have [Aperture](http://www.apertureuk.com/). Also, quite near to Victoria station one can find a fantastic shop called [Mr. Cad's](http://www.mrcad.co.uk/). Both of these shops have extremely helpful and friendly staff and they both sell Ektar and Portra.

There’s a chain called Snappy Snaps and almost every store I’ve been to in London sells film, a decent range too depending on what you like. Google their locations, there’s a lot around the city especially around central so shouldn’t be to hard to find.
There’s also a few stands around Camden market, although they only seem to sell 200s such as Kodak Colour Plus.
London Camera Exchange on the strand is very good too, as well as a few other camera shops in other areas. I can’t remember what they’re called though. I’m sure if you google ‘London camera shop’ you will find them.
Last place I can think of is Sendean cameras in Clerkenwell.
I often spend my days wandering London with my camera and if I happen to run out of film I’ve never had difficulty finding a place nearby that sells some.

Don't live in London, but don't buy a switch tester. They don't give you a true feel of what the switches are, and if your budget is 75, then it would be a waste. Maybe there is a store you can go to? For a keeb, the magicforce is very highly regarded, and the KBParsdise v60 with gaterons is $89 in the us on mk.com. it's worth looking at those two
Danilo_dk replied:
If you can find a store where you can try all the switches, do that. But otherwise I think buying a switch tester is worth it. It will just take a little while of saving to get a keyboard after that. Sure, a switch tester does not give the true feel of a board that has the same switches, but it is better than making a wild guess for your first board and not liking it because the switches are not for you.
_Mongrel replied:
I don't know of any shops in london. Maybe you can try out some game shops, but most only carry "gaming" boards with the companies own switches. As already mentioned it's important that you find out which switch you want before you buy, testers in the UK aren't inexpensive but it'll be worth buying one in the long run. When you're looking into buying a board there are a few good UK based websites including [kustompcs](https://www.kustompcs.co.uk/) and [overclockers](https://www.overclockers.co.uk/). You could also try /r/mechmarket which is always rich with boards.
davidpye replied:
Places like Maplin will stock basic gaming type keyboards, Razer, Corsair etc, although I'd not suggest buying one of these, often the Corsairs will have Cherry switches and so you'll be able to try a red at least. Then, I've noticed a lot of places stock Logitech boards which have their equivalent to browns in the display units quite a lot. There are a bunch of Razer boards with their clicky switches. I know they're not the boards you're looking for, but they will give you some indication as to roughly what the switch types feel like. Just remember that most good boards will feel better than those gamer type boards.
