Any recommendations for a male doctor (general practitioner) who listens and is seeing new patients?

Amy C. replied:
Dr. Paul Daily at MANNM. My fiancé used to hate and avoid the doctor (didn't even have a GP for 11 yrs) because he had such bad luck finding ones who listened in the past. I finally got him to see Daily, and he's really happy with him. Also Daily hasn't stuck him with any of those hidden fee's that some doctors in town like to tack on.
Anne S. replied:
Any of the men at MANNM are wonderful. My husband *loathes* going to the doctor's office, but has never had a bad experience at MANNM (neither have I, but my doctor is a woman, sorry!) Dr. Church is great, but his schedule is tight.
Jim C. replied:
Dr. Tyler Taylor.
Peg H. replied:
Dr. Stanley Garrett at Honsinger's clinic 662.4351
Robert V. replied:
Paul Daly....been my doc for 13 yrs
Dennis S. replied:
Dr. Daley has a PA by the name of Alan Mattison. He is also very good.
Can anyone recommend a good primary care physician?
Sally C. replied:
I think Debbie Davidson Morley would rather see this type of question on the LA Medical Information page, but my PCP is Dr. Goddard. I think most of the physicians at MANNM are good.
Jill B. replied:
Michelle Carr with MANNM
Claudette M. replied:
Dr. John Wisneski at LAMCC. Evening and Saturday hours.
Debbie M. replied:
If you read old posts there is a lot of cost info. There is a great prescription price checker, and info on area drs, some all the way to ABQ. https://www.facebook.com/groups/691139827572805/
Is there any primary care physicians in Los Alamos anyone would recommend other than MANNM?
Jocelyn C. replied:
Gateway Medical
Susan W. replied:
I like Los Alamos Medical Care Clinic. I moved there after dealing with my own issues from MANNM and have been happy ever since. My Doctor is Dr. Bridge but all the doctors there are very compassionate and you don't feel like you are on an assembly line.
Peggy P. replied:
Dr Taylor -- near Chamber of commerce ✔️
Jaime C. replied:
662-4798 is the number :)
Katelyn S. replied:
I've been 100% satisfied and impressed with Linda Taylor at MANNM
Need a recommendation for a good non-geriatric primary care physician. Preferably someone into functional, preventative medicine. Ideas?
Wanda O. replied:
Dr. Carmen Solano.... Located in the Small Business Office by Post Office. 505-500-8356 She is an MD, but Functional Medical Doctor.
Mike S. replied:
Thanks for the recommendation Wanda Owens. Shawn, if you PM me I'll give you details on Dr. Solano's Functional Medicine practice here in Los Alamos. Thanks!
My family is moving to the area and I need reccomendations for a pediatrician for my kids and a general practitioner for myself. Thank you!
Melanie S. replied:
Jacqueline Krohn
Julie C. replied:
Dr. Neil or Nichols at the children's clinic. I've been here 4 years and still don't have a GP for my husband and myself. Sorry.
Angela B. replied:
Dr. Neil and Dr. Nichols at the Children's Clinic were my pediatricians when I was a kid. They're great!
Jessica G. replied:
Jacqueline Krohn is awesome. My husband went to her when he was young and now my kids go to her. We love her
Dorothy H. replied:
Michelle Carr
Larisa K. replied:
I love Linda Taylor. She is a great provider for women's health services. She works at MANNM but there are multiple care providers that might suit your adult needs.
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know of a primary care doctor open today other than urgent care?
Martha K. replied:
Not in LA that I know of, but there are some Urgent Care places in SF that might be able to save you a trip to the ER. I don't know what their hours are or if they are open weekends.
