Dr. Krohn is our pediatrician and we like her a lot. In our 6+ years with her we have never had to wait more than a few hours to get in. Just called this morning for our youngest and they gave us an appt in 30 min. Her office is inside the LA Medical Center (505) 662-9620 She also took all of our off hours calls when we were new parents with our first. It was very helpful. I dont know how she manages it.

Dr. Montoya is a great dentist and has an awesome team of folks! Patricia McCulloch is fantastic (at Los Alamos Children's Clinic).

I highly recommend, the Childrens Clinic 505-662-4234, and my puppies (3 years old) love the Animal Clinc 505-662-6622, and Rachel Myer for DDS.

Dr. Montoya is fantastic - we use him for all of our family, including our children.

Children's Clinic Dr. Neal is the best pediatrician.

What about Dr. Michelle White Carr? I hear she's good too.:-)

David Gartz DDS - he is fantastic. I just had an emergency root canal thanks to him and his great staff. Can't recommend them enough.

MY family and I are also moving to Los Alamos/ White Rock by the end of this month. Can someone recommend a good Women doctor's for annual appointment I'm over due..

Bernice Jackson Jones-- I go to Dr. Alverez for my allergies. Not sure how he us with kids, though. I see Dr. Barbara Van Eeckhout for the lady stuff. She's amazing. She delivered my daughter.

Vikki Saga at VikkiVet.com. She does house calls, so your animal doesn't have the stress of the ride or the waiting room prior to the stress of the exam room. Vikki is also available after hours and on weekends for a slight additional charge for emergencies. She has seen several of my animals at home, and they never even noticed they had been to the vet.

One of the doctors mentioned above is ok if you don't mind your child being treated with pseudo-scientific quackery. Otherwise, go with Dr. Tom.

We like the Children's Clinic as well. We have seen both Dr. Neal and Dr. Slaughter. My daughter also likes the nursing staff there, they are always patient.

We go to the Childrens Clinic also. For appt we see Dr. Nichols or Dr. Schoonover. Both are a perfect fit for our family.

Dr. Tom at 662.9292, is the most compassionate doc you will ever find. He and Nurse Nadine are a great team and love your kids as much as you love the... Well, almost.! The doc takes his time in every appt and will talk to the child and parents knowledgeably, never talks down to anyone.

I agree, Dr. Tom is a very nice man and an excellent pediatrician! My daughter was sick on Friday and their office called to check on her later in the day.

Tammy Jaurigue, welcome to LA. I asked the same question a few weeks ago as we just moved here as well. I will tag you in the post. Dr Tom and Dr Krohn got the most recommendations. I haven't tried either one of them yet, but will be scheduling soon for my sons 18 month baby well check up.:)

Dr. Tom is wonderful and yes his office accepts Medicaid. The new Los Alamos Childrens Dentistry also accepts Medicaid, we have not gone to them yet but I have heard wonderful reviews about their office.

I recently moved to Los Alamos and I am very very happy taking my little one year old girl with Dr. Tom. He is a great pediatrician.

Dr. Ben Neal, children's clinic at LAMC. I would not take my children or grandchild to anyone else.

Children's Clinic and Dr. Krohn. Both are excellent. Dr Krohn is also very in tune with allergies, especially local allergies.

Dr. Krohn- she uses modern medicine, and some well-studied holistic approaches. Like careful application of antibiotics, so as to not develop a tolerance. Kelp for nose bleeds- which works because of the high Vitamin K content. Etc. If she said a procedure was unnecessary, I trusted her advice. It was a perfect match for my kids.

We are super sad about Dr. Tom as well:( We have only lived here for 2 years, but we have been taking our children to Dr. Tom since we moved her, and my kids adore him. I love how he comes to your house to do the newborn visit! That was the coolest thing after my baby girl was born! I fully trust him with my children. I am so sad to see him go:( I have heard from several friends that Dr. Neal is awesome. That is who we are planning to take our children to now. But we love and will miss Dr. Tom so much!

I've taken Hannah to Dr. Krohn since she was born. We love her. She's patient, understanding. We also like that with us, she listens! This is huge!

Dr. Krohn is great! She knows her medicine. She can see your child the same day when your child is sick. We have been going to her for 13 years now.

We love Tom Csnandi! (Aka "dr tom") He has his own private practice, you always see him & he gets to know your family really well. His nurse is great too. He's been very thoughtful with our boys, listening to our concerns & will even do home visits if necessary.

I love Linda Taylor. She is a great provider for women's health services. She works at MANNM but there are multiple care providers that might suit your adult needs.

You could try Dr. Krohn it's horribly hard up here to find pediatric care now. We are off the hill and very happy!
