Is there a handyman or someone who does haul away? I need some small furniture items and a couple mattresses hauled away from Bell Canyon in the next few days.

https://g.co/kgs/keeMZi I've used these guys probably seven or eight times to move my stuff from a very small apartment to now a two bedroom house.
it's best to pay cash these guys get the job done they don't charge extra for stairs but they will get you if you get the moving supplies from them like boxes bubble wrap shrink wrap for everything.
I've recommended them to friends and my friends have been happy with these.
My biggest complaint is that they smoke and leave their cigarettes about.
But I read it off to them being Eastern Europeans who may have not learned American customs yet. I'm actually kind of concerned that this might be a situation where they're making people pay off their traveling debts. The guys that show up are skinny but they are flipping strong.

I'm looking to buy a Tempur-pedic mattress. Anyone sell them and need some commission?

I recommend a Latex mattress. Comparable in price, better quality, more breathable, hypoallergenic. I got a queen sized latex for $1200 from this place somewhere around.Orange, CA. Its probably 150 lbs though, making it pretty tough to move.
CatCatCat replied:
I bought one off of ebay. Just type in "memory foam" mattress and see what comes up. This is the seller I bought mine from "comfortsleepbeds". I believe that Tempurpedic has done a really really good job of convincing people that their product is somehow unique, and is worth the huge markup. The memory foam mattresses on ebay are exactly the same product. I looked at the tempurpedic mattresses at the mattress store, and the spec's are the same. On ebay, you can choose the thickness and density. We bought the 12" model, which consists of 5" "Memory Foam & 7" High Polyurethane Base". We've had it for about 5 years, and have been very happy with it. We paid about $400 for a queen size mattress. My husband went and picked it up from the warehouse, which is somewhere in the LA area... I forget where exactly. That saved on the shipping.
The mattress comes rolled up like a taco encased in plastic, and when we unrolled it and took the plastic off, it did have a latex-ey smell, but soon dissipated.
In short, Tempur-pedic brand is not worth the premium. Most likely they are all sourced from the same factory in China. If not the knockoffs are certainly more than adequate.

My brother used to work in a furniture store. Tempur-pedic mattress is brand name for memory foam beds. You can get generic memory foam for much cheaper.

I bought a NovaForm memory foam mattress from Costco a couple of years ago and think it's great. Bought a queen for $650 IIRC.

I found a brand new Queen sized one on craigslist, unused still in original packing material for only $200. It's the best bed I've ever slept in. About 1 month after purchasing I almost sold it because I found it hard to get up in the morning because it was so comfortable.

We have gone through three coil mattresses and find them to be disappointing. Why do people continue to buy regular coil and pillowtop mattresses? Are they that afraid of latex? Is there a weird perception of sleeping on rubber? As for me, I have no idea how the "latex" mattresses work, or why they are so breatheable and cool in all types of weather. I can't imagine it's non-porous like a condom or rubber glove. My wife and I are looking to replace our current bed and would consider memory foam.
