Marvins Cleaners, 1724 Palos Verdes Dr. North - (310) 547-4040... it’s not in San Pedro, but it’s nearby, at the SE corner of Western Ave. and Palos Verdes Dr. North. (small shopping center with a sporting good store, military recruiting office, and a few other businesses)... Marvin managed another dry cleaner for years, then opened his own… I followed Marvin, and so did a lot of the other clients. Excellent customer service, free delivery.

I'm surprised there are positive marks for Chaim's Platt Cleaners. We went to them for years and found his wife a real diva and very annoying when she is in the store. Chai himself is a bit tempermental. The young barristas at Coffee Bean said he comes over to their store and complains that 'they' are parking in 'his' parking spots which is not true. I always wondered if he pays the mini mall to reserve those 2 parking spots for his cleaners. As mentioned parking in that mini mall is not good. We continued to go to them because he is Israeli and a 'landsman' and we wanted to give him our business. Unfortunately after his wife yelled too often we switched cleaners and surprisingly now go to the cleaners next to Starbucks. I have questioned the cleaners near Starbucks about their prices. Are they charging you $5 for a shirt or for a blouse? Just wondering.
