https://www.facebook.com/liza.auciello does that mean I shouldn't have AT&T as my internet provider or just one of their services? I think I'm leaning toward Ooma. https://www.facebook.com/bonnsuet and https://www.facebook.com/giggles2 he , can you use your own phone as well as my Phone number?
What are the best cheap cell phone plans? Specifically, how is Virgin Mobile? I'm looking for a cheap, reliable cell phone plan. I've looked into Virgin Mobile. Has...

Depends on what you need it for, I think. I'm your average everyday smartphone user, so I need data, and I'm picky enough to say I want the best service possible, so I'm on Cricket. Aside from a few nitpicks here and there it's keeping up with the expectations I had for service when I had AT&T. The 5GB/mo plan is $50 with a $5 credit for autopay, and I recently bought a $50 refill for $45 online. So after my $45 gets deducted this month, I'll have $5 left on my balance, which means NEXT month only $40 is coming from my account. Kind of like winning twice.
r/nocontract is your friend, but like someone on there said when I first looked, if you go there looking for anything other than Cricket, you're going to have a bad time ;)
Good luck!

Ask friends with Sprint. That's the network. I love mine. The LG stylo 2 is a solid phone on their $40/month plan.

I like Virgin Mobile. Only complaint is that they throttle you to 128 kbps after you hit 2.5GB a month. They used to throttle to 256 kbps, which was easier to deal with. I'm considering getting a different provider that provides 3-5GB a month. Not sure yet.

I'm paying $27 a month for unlimited talk, text, and 5 gb of data on republic wireless which is using the sprint network. There newer plans aren't as good of a deal and use the tmobile network.
My little sister is on freedompop's completely free plan, but she is only 12 and doesn't need a lot of data or anything. You can buy the BLU R1 HD for $50 on amazon and the sim for $1 from freedompop. You get 100 talk minutes, 100 text, and 700 mb of data with no monthly bill ever if you never go over those amounts. Freedompop's global sim uses at&t and tmobile.. and works in like 30 countries for free.
My older brother is on ringplus.. he gets 5000 talk, 5000 text, and 5000 mb of data completely free every month. They have all kinds of free and pay plans.. you got to wait for the really good deals on the free plans.. but they have a deal open up about once a month. You need a sprint device to get with them. I'm thinking of buying the moto g4 $129 on amazon and taking the plunge with ringplus. Just don't want to buy a phone right now. They also use sprint.. so same service youd get on virgin mobile.

Do you get decent non-verizon signal where you live/trave/commute or no? How much data do you use per month?

Reading the comments on here makes me realize I had a really bad experience with Virgin Mobile. I can't remember the plan that I had, because it was at least 5 years ago. I was looking for something cheaper as I was always with AT&T and they're pretty expensive. There was always an issue with the towers wherever I was for some reason. Never got the data I was paying for and I called a bunch of times for technical support, and each time I waited 3+ hours. Wasn't worth the headache for me, so I switched back to AT&T and I haven't had an issue. They aren't the cheapest though, so for what you're looking for I wouldn't recommend. I just might have been terribly unlucky with Virgin Mobile; perhaps you will have a better outcome.
However I have been hearing about the new google plans a lot and it seems pretty cool. I'm gonna do more research on it, but I like what I see so far and I'm going to be switching to them after my contract with AT&T is up.

I use [RingPlus](https://ringplus.net/), which uses the Sprint network. If you can nab one of their promotional free plans when they pop up I highly recommend them. I was able to grab one which had 2000 minutes, 2000 texts, and 2GB of LTE data for $0.00 a month. So far I've spent a total of $20 on overages and device swaps in the several months I've been using them. Hard to beat free if you're patient enough to wait around for a promotion.

I have Virgin mobile and I love it. I've had it for about four years. I always have service because I live in a big city. Important to note that I drove through Nevada once and had zero service for 8 hours until I hit Vegas. If you live super rural I would definitely check coverage before you commit. They just came out with a 5 gb/month plan for $40. Way more than what I originally got with them! So I'm glad service and plans are getting better instead of rates going up like how it always was with AT&T.

My wife's phone is a Virgin Mobile and we're happy with it. Virgin uses Sprint towers so you'll probably want to check on that coverage before you decide completely on them.

I've been using Virgin Mobile for about 5 years. It's been pretty good, except that the coverage can be spotty at times.

I use tracfone. The call quality could be better, but you can't beat the price. $15 on their website gets you 400 mins, 400 texts, 400 MB data, 30 service days. I buy that monthly, then purchase data as needed at $10/ 1GB. Prices get slightly better if you buy more airtime at once. These prices are in their website under "Smartphone only/ Bring your own phone."

I have T-Mobile. $30/ month get's me 100 minutes of voice and unlimited data. First 5 gigs are at 4 g and after that it drops to 2 g. For my usage it's great. It used to be kind of a pain to get this plan, I had to go to walmart and buy a sign up kit. Not sure what it's like now.

My son and I have Virgin Mobile. $37/month with taxes each. It's pretty good, but not as good as Verizon (which my husband has and which is paid for by his work) or T-Mobile (which my daughter has). When my phone dies, I'll probably switch to T-Mobile. Plan is $31 a month with taxes but it's not advertised, you have to look for it. As other poster said, I think it's from Walmart but I somehow managed to get it online (can't remember how).
Does anyone use a small business phone service that they would recommend? Im looking at Evoice, RingCentral and Grasshopper...

Pat Live hosts my practice lines, tracks and analyzes my call traffic, and all calls forward to the same google voice number which is never seen by the prospective patient. Pretty seamless and cheap.
Recommendations for mobile phone service? Currently with Sprint, contract expiring. Looking for 2 line plan with good service (dropped calls frustrate me greatly).
Brian R. replied:
But where do you go for service? I went to Best Buy and was confused. We don't have Virgin Stores in SD and they use Sprint's tower system.
I'd like to hear the personal experiences of anyone who has finally cancelled their land line phone service. Pros? Cons? Regrets? Best choice you've made in ages?
