I have AT&T Uverse and it works great. I still remember TWC's number (357-4400) and have only called AT&T once in close to two years.

I have AT&T and I can't stand them, but I don't have experience with other providers so I can't say they're worse than anyone else. My top complaints: 1. Customer service is HORRIBLE. I've never spent less than 45 minutes on the phone trying to sort out a problem. It's just awful. 2. Service is spotty. Sometimes it's great and fast, sometimes it barely moves. We moved up to 6 Mbps thinking that might make it better, but it's the same. 3. More than once, it's just gone out without warning and seemingly for no reason, and they have sent the wrong kind of person to fix the problem or misdiagnosed the issue. It's just always a nightmare to deal with them. So that's my 2 cents. Best of luck with finding a good provider! I hope your experience with them is better than mine!

We had AT&T DSL service for years and had no problems. When lightening fried our modem last month we switched to AT&T UVerse. We had a lot of problems with losing service until they put a new drop to our house. Since then we have had a strong steady connection. However, we are limited to the 12 meg service since there is no fiber optic cable in the box that serves the neighborhood. That is also the reason we can not get UVerse TV even though we are surrounded by it.
Hey people, I am wondering if anyone has anyone different than time Warner/spectra for internet and Wi-Fi? I am so tired of these crooks I can't stand them any longer. I...

Krissy McInnis is right, the new Spectrum package will be out by then. In looking at all providers, they all have promos that eventually expire, and some of them have data caps, so if you're using a lot of internet, that might not be worth it. Not to mention, TWC has the fastest speeds available in the city atm

I just switched to AT&T Uverse for Internet and phone. Uverse TV is not available at my address yet but that was okay because I wanted a digital antenna anyway. Totally satisfied with my switch.

Laura M. replied:
Alyssa, once you hit a year of service, your bill will go up. By a lot. In order to keep it low, you will be calling and fighting with them over stupid shit every month. I also have outage issues with cable AND internet. Customer service is great when they aren't telling you they can't help you and passing the buck. I had to exchange my box 4 or 5 times in the same week. And I don't mean they came to my house. No no. I had to drive to the TWC store and exchange it myself and they gave me those old cheap ass Motorola boxes that were probably manufactured 15 years ago and I had the same problems over and over because they actually needed to send a tech out here, God forbid, instead of sending me, the customer, to the store over and over to try to fix the problems myself. When we got TWC in louisville, they made a lot of empty promises like the ability to watch DVR programs from smart phones and tablets and how we were gonna get brand new boxes with a lot of new technology like the look back feature where you could watch programs that aired up to 24 hours ago. You'll see that option if you hit menu from the remote but it doesn't work. Why? Because when they got bought out by Comcast they decided there was really no point in wasting their time and energy and resources furthering a market they're losing anyway. I love the TV service with DirecTV but they don't have a good internet bundle and ATT internet (which DirecTV uses) isn't all that great here. Maybe it's because we don't have the right cables in my neighborhood yet. I can't get U-Verse yet so I don't know if it's any good or not. In my neighborhood, the only real bundle option is TWC and it's awful, so I go back to my original statement, there's no such thing.
So i currently have att uverse for internet service and about 60% of the time it does not work so my question is anyone know a better service provider to use
