Does anyone know of a rheumatologist that they would recommend?? Thanks in advance
Amanda K. replied:
Dr. Rachel Chase. She works with Dr. Sterns office down at 1 st and Liberty Street. I have been a patient there since 2010.
Sherry R. replied:
Dr Takagishi in Norton Suburban medical offices. I've seen Dr Rachel Chase too but like Dr Takagishi better. Don't let the name fool you either. Look up reviews online for both I always do before going to a dr. Good Luck!
Does anyone have a Rheumatologist in Louisville they would recommend? I would love to find a doctor that understands Fibromyalgia and is compassionate
Kristy G. replied:
The Rheumatologist that diagnosed me with fibro is Dr Lisa June ! She's good but she stays booked!
Melissa Y. replied:
Laura Adams Leach glad to get some info on Dr. Crump I almost made an appointment with him.
Erin V. replied:
Dr. June is a very compassionate doctor.
Amie M. replied:
Does anyone have a Dr. Williams contact info? Oh I'm sure Dr. June is a great doctor and I don't hold anything against her for not taking me on or the actions of her staff.
Laura H. replied:
I see Dr. Williams but not so sure I'd recommend him. He is not up to date on the latest finding and I could see his ears slam closed when I tried to tell him about Dr Clauw then cut me off when I started to tell him about the hour and a half long vid eo the doctor posted on YouTube. He didn't want to know about any of it. He also will not support or diagnose you as having anything else like Chronic Fatigue while you see him for Fibro. You can't have both according to him.

Rachel Chase
Katharina R. replied:
I was a patient of Dr. Crump for 10 years. He diagnosed me with Rheumatic Arthritis. I was a perfectly compliant patient, taking all my meds. After 10 years, he finally figured out that I didn't have RA. I'm still dealing with health issues triggered by his misdiagnosis and treatment. I would avoid that practice, which includes Dr. June.
Kristy G. replied:
Katharina Walker Ray I love Dr Williams!!
Deanne C. replied:
I love Dr. Williams too! I've been seeing him for about 3 years now.
Amie M. replied:
Dr. June refused to see me due to "too many patients trying to get in with more important medical problems." Those were her staffs exact words.
Laura L. replied:
Avoid Dr. Crump in Louisville. He does not believe in fibro. He said I was fat, depressed and needed to get laid.
Kim N. replied:
I saw Dr. Rachel Chase for my diagnosis. She is good and I would recommend her. She will prescribe first-line meds (i.e. Lyrica, Neurontin, Savella) but if you need extra pain management meds or infusions, she will recommend you to someone like Dr. Williams (who runs a Fibromyalgia Clinic through Norton).
