Good Liquor Shops My birthday is coming up next weekend and I have a list of libations I'd like to pick up. I'm in need of Bulleit Rye (Not their whiskey), a good gin...

Weiland's is probably your best bet for selection. You can also check out the liquor control board [website](https://www.comapps.ohio.gov/liqr/liqr_apps/PermitLookup/AgencyBrand.aspx) if there is anything else you want to check for. The lists aren't accurate for what's in stock but they can tell you if a store carries/ has carried something.

Sadly, they're all about the same to me. Liquor stores are so poor because of the state's meddling in inventory and minimum prices. Just this past week my son bought a bottle of Glenlivet in St. Louis on sale at Costco there for $24 - the same bottle is $44 in Ohio. He just HAD to rub that in. When I lived in Texas, newspaper ads with sale prices for booze were as plentiful as car ads. At least we're not as bad as Pennsylvania. In any case, Happy Birthday, amigo.

If you're near Dublin there is a good place in Karric Square on Frantz Rd. That's where I get my Bullet Rye and various goods.

I agree with everyone saying Weiland's. I know I've seen Bulleit Rye there and I've gotten both Hendrick's and Watershed gin there. I think it's your best bet assuming it's not a huge pain in the ass, but I don't think you'd have *too* much trouble getting Bulleit Rye and good gin at just about any respectable liquor store these days.

Kroger in German Village definitely has Bulleit Rye, and a pretty decent selection of other booze. That's my go-to

Hendricks for gin, OYO for vodka. If you like tequila, Sauza Hornitos is very good for the price point. I prefer reposado but that's a more personal choice.

I usually go to Huffman's in UA because they are also a great local market (and right by my house) and they carry my favorite gin, Watershed :) Not sure if they have Bulleit

North Campus Liquor on the corner of high and blake have a good selection, weiland's is better though because they also sell very good food.
Not on Dixie Highway, but still in the area - does anyone know what happened to Gilbert's and the liquor store? One day they were open and the next day closed.
Does anyone know whom the guy is that hangs out on the corner by Thornton's and the liquor store "once long John silver's lol" The guy with the dog.. I want to give him...

Saundra Lelejko -- I would reach out to Vitalis Lanshima. He is our new rep, very responsive and I remember reading he has been working with the man you are asking about. I believe Mr. Lanshima has been reaching out to him for more of a long-term solution.
