Dr Mirro is the best internal meds doctor around

Something to consider when finding a doctor is to ask which hospitals they work with, Franciscan, etc. That way they can pull up your tests and such in their computer. Example is if your doctor works out of Community and you are in the hospital at St. Anthony's, your doctor cannot pull up your test results. You will have to go to the records department, get copies and deliver them to your doctor. Dr. Lopatniuk is good, I just have trouble with understanding her accent. I see Dr. R. Shah in Merrillville, since 12-2004, he works with Methodist & St. Mary's hospitals. He is a DO & Internal Medicine, 756-7910.

Dr Lopatniuk has been my Dr for years. My oldest has severe medical issues and I'm very protective of who his drs are. I chose Dr Lopatniuk because I love that she listens and is open to ideas and treatments she may not be familiar with.

Dr. Kramer at Child Life Center in Merrillville. His sense of humor is a little dry, but he's a great doctor and his nurses are wonderful. He took care of me since I was a baby and now I take my daughter there.

Dr. Brechner is amazing. He is in Winfield. He is very friendly and personable, great with kids.

Not sure what insurance you have, but the doctor me and my son go to take medicaid. Dr Jacobus and Dr brectner at Winfield family medicine are both family doctors and are so wonderful! There is also a therapist in that building, not sure of her name though. I also like Dr Reena John, she's a pediatrician and takes medicaid. She is located in Dyer
