Dr. Ladd on rt 30. He's close to 41. He is amazing. He takes care of both of my kids and did a surgery for my daughter. Won't go to anyone else

Rachel Dunlop Valpo Family Dentistry. She is a pediatric dentist and does great with my 3 yo who is TERRIFIED of all things doctor.

Karr is not in network but Dr. Dunlop is so I'm going to call her. I have 2 1/2 year old twins. One has an extra tooth on top and the other one has a complete under bite. But they're afraid of the doctor so I'm hoping Dr. Dunlop can ease their fears.

Dr Karr and that is coming from someone that works in the field. She does good work and great with kids

Dr. Tyree in Munster is a no . I have a 6 year old and i wasnt impressed with their staff. Never even met the doctor. We were referred by our regular dentist for my child to get a spacer. They took my child in and didn't let me come in the room at all. They could have done anything to him. The receptionist ladies are a bit confused also. Not very friendly either.

We started at south shore smiles on 41 in St. John. We see Dr. Dunlpo. It's a brand new, beautiful office!

The Children's Dental Center in Merrillville..very good.. thorough !!

I used to go to Gold's office and had problems all the time too. I switched to Dr. Omiyosoye A. Ololade, MD at the Franciscian Clinic and St. John. I love him!! And they always try to get you in. If he is not there that day they will try to get you in with his partner.

I had the same exact problem with Dr. Gold. However, I just switched to Dr. Vicente at the same practice. I can get into her ANYTIME my kids are sick. Plus you NEVER have to wait with her.

Dr. Udani in Schererville is amazing! We've been with him for almost 9 years!!

Dr. Brent Jacobus saw all three of my kids and now my grandsons. He's not old either! If they can't get you in today they will get you in the next day. He is in Winfield straight down 109 th st.

We see Dr. Alsakaji in St John at Community Outpatient. He is in with Dr. Dershowitz and NP Kieren. They are Healthy Kids Care Center. I have 3 kids, and I've never had a problem getting any of them same day usually within 3 hours. They've saved me numerous trips to the ER by ordering tests and sending us downstairs to outpatient. The receptionists and nurses also rock. (219) 226-2380 is the number. They also see patients in Schererville.

I just switched pediatricians last week. Was able to get in to see a doctor who is one of the partners (and not a nurse) the day I called. Dr. Crill shares an office with Dr. John in Dyer. Dr. Crill is younger (that's who we saw) and Dr. John is more seasoned. My friend highly recommended both of them. I switched for the same reason. Their office is in that plaza on Exchange near Sheffield. Dr. Crill was kind, informative, and didn't rush us in any way. We were very pleased.

Kids First Pediatrics on 30. Dr. Stroman is amazing! I trust no one else. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and 99% of the time I can get a same day sick visit.

Dr Parihk on Broadway. I can always get in same day. The whole staff is awesome.

Healthy kids. Dr Dersherwitz or Alsakaji. Great nursing/office staff. Always gets in for same day appts. Be very very eerie of Dr Uzelac in schererville !!!

I went to Dr. Pulver as a kid, never had more than cleanings back then but he and his staff are great with kids IMO. My kids still haven't been to the dentist but it's where I plan on sending them.

Dr. Mattingly in town is the best dentist- lots and lots and lots of kids go there including my own and haven't been happier.

Dr. Parikh is a very good dr. We go to north point now and have dr. Amin for my older 2 and Dr Vicente for my younger 2. Both are really good as well

We see Dr. Gold who is fantastic but I'm not sure if she's taking new patients. If not, Dr. Cook in that same office is great as well.

Dr Vicente told me to stop bringing my kid there was nothing wrong with him. 5 hours later he had a febrile seizure because he indeed had pneumonia.

I just got back from seeing Dr.Vicente so she's definitely still at northpoint. Quick responses when calling in about a question and easy to schedule appointments. Got to my appointment early today and got called back within 2 minutes of sitting down. Dr. Gold at northpoint is also great. She was on call when I had to take my daughter to the er and had an overnight stay. Very nice lady.

We love Dr Gold. She's wonderful with my boys (11 and 2). Very patient with my two year old who has terrible anxiety at the doctor and my 11 year old loves her too. Does not push medications and looks for underlying causes of symptoms.

Well my daughter received a letter stating Dr. Vincente was leaving the office. My grandson had to get a new dr.

Dr Albright is great! That whole office is, but I really like her.

Alot of people have suggested Dr Gold to me. Thanks this helps cuz I don't like going to someone with no info like who the insurance told me to go to, I can't even read her name and she's all the way in munster

Dr. Khattri is the best! My son contracted the Entro virus in September and she not only diagnosed him but encouraged me to send him to a chicago children's hospital. She made the arrangements and called up there at the hospital in Chicago every day to see how he was doing!

Dr. LISA Gold.. she treated my son for 10-11 years for same diagnosis. . Awesome lady !!!

Kids First on 30 in Dyer! They have several doctors but we see Dr. Albright. Same day sick appointments, sick and well waiting rooms, online portal to view and print health and shot records without going to the office, late hours, can talk to a nurse without having to wait for a call back, free wifi, and you even get your doctor's cell number for after hour emergencies that don't warrant an er visit.

I didnt care for Kids First. We switched to Dr John at Dyer Family South- office staff there kinda sucks but Dr. John is great.

Dr. Berquist in Crown Point us a general dentist for the whole family and they're amazing with kids.

For a pediatrician, we use Kids First in Dyer. All of their doctors are great but we usually see Dr. Nancy Albright. They have late hours, same day sick appointments, a nurse available to talk to with no hold, sick and well waiting rooms, and they provide you with the doctor's cell number for after hour emergencies. For a pediatric dentist, we use Dr. Halum at Children's Dentistry in Highland. They are great with kids and have the newest technology to make appointments easy on the kids. Both are well worth the drive.

My kids go to Lowell Pedi, to Dr. Olszack, she is TRUELY my favorite. Lowell Pediatrics also have a muchhh cleaner office in Westford which I 100% prefer over the Lowell office (which Westford sounds far but it's not). I hope to visit soon, sorry the weather messed us all up and there's suppose to be more this weekend:( ! I hope the little family is doing AMAZING!!! <3 .

I'm not sure if anyone in the area. Dr Kramer with Medical Specialists in Merrillville is an excellent pediatrician. You could go there. My girls are older now but he did refer one of them to a pediatric cardiologist from University of Chicago and he came out to Crown Point. Also an excellent resource is Lisa Carnegie Newcomb I would ask her. She has a wealth of knowledge.

Dr. Uzelac in Schererville is great with that kind of thing. She helped treat a friends little girl who was "diagnosed" with ADD/ADHD by the schools. She is very homeopathic but also will prescribe if absolutely necessary.

I go to mill city too and Dr T us great, but they are always so busy

My GP retired, but I still schedule all my appts back home at Harvard Vanguard. That's where my Pedi and all my specialists were/are too, and I love being part of a network that can access my chart.

We go to Chelmsford Family Practice in Vinyl Square for pretty much that very reason. I want the kids to be able to stay with their doc as long as they choose to. Our entire family has the same PCP and it's the same one Craig has had his whole life. I also went to a family practice growing up and only left because our amazing N.P. who were always saw when we went got a job at Children's in Boston. Otherwise I'd absolutely still be driving to Tewksbury to stay with her.

Mill city medical. Dr. Tsirigotis is great.
