Can anyone recommend a bakery that does small treats and definitely something on the lemon bar side?
Not wanting cupcakes or anything that requires silverware.

Also: Am going to be buying a dessert at a fancy pants bakery tomorrow somewhere in Seattle. Any suggestions as to where I should go???

Fresh Flours in Ballard. The Japanese owner is French Pastry trained in Paris. His croissants and tarts are the best I've tasted in Seattle. Also, if you're in a time crunch, Yunbo is right....Whole foods has the best tasting desserts without being too sweet. If you're looking for cake, my favorite is Chinatown's Piece of Cake.

There is also www.lartisanfrenchbakery.com/ in Everett, near Silver Lake. Piece of Cake is my favorite, though. :)
