I hate to come across as rude or blunt, but given the terrible chance of having ALL bats out, before its sealed, having the oder gone is one thing, the fecal and urine damage both neutralized because of disease is paramount as well as the destructive nature of their waste. I urge your friend to contact PROFESSIONALS to alleviate the danger. Shaun at Central Sierra Pest Control does fantastic work!

Tammy, I am with Matt.You have got to get the colony out and then follow thru with CAREFULLY cleaning up after them. This can seriously affect your health. I absolutely adore bats but will not tolerate them living in my home with me!

Diatomaceous earth We use it for everything. We get the food grade from Kristina's Natural Market in Fresno. It's cheap! We use it on ants, outside bugs, feed it to our dogs to keep the internal parasites away, etc. I swear by it.
