I thought that based on the title of this post that this was going to be a joke about the 3 of them walking into a bar. I'm disappointed

Dr. Kakani is an awesome ob/gyn. Can't recommend her enough.

Dr. Davis Reed for a primary dentist. Assure you that he does a very good job of making patients comfortable.

If you literally just need BC and no other gyno frills, I'd recommend Dr. Loncar at Clinic for Women in Madison. She's excellent and so is her staff.

Matt Gibson at Gibson Dental in Madison is great. Before him I was at Eastview Dental, and they were competent and friendly but super busy. Bonus shout-out for Dale Allen in Madison, although I haven't used him since I moved away in 2002.

I had the same problem about 4 months ago. I ended up finding Dr. O'Halloran at Creekside. The office staff is a bit.. I dunno. Meh. But Dr. O'Halloran is pretty cool. http://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-christopher-ohalloran-2 wp84 EDIT: I should state that Dr. O'Halloran is a male. Don't know if you have a preference for gender.

You can call Huntsville Hospital and ask for a physician referral. (They'll only refer you to someone who is taking new patients -- you'll likely be looking for an internist.)
Xeller replied:
Do you have any issues with preferred providers on your health insurance? If not, I recommend the Dr Mullins or Dr Wells at Valley View Family Medicine. Their office staff can be meh, but they're great doctors.

Chuck Mullins with Valley View Family Medicine. I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about him.

Dr Oneil in Madison. Very good staff and a well run office. I'm never waiting long during my appointments. He is an older Irish man and can be hard to understand when he speaks fast. Ive had many doctors in my life from growing up and moving around and this guy has been the most efficient with the least wait time. By no means does he rush, just efficient! https://panaceafamilymedicine.com/

I see Dr Reidy at Tennessee Valley OBGYN. I like her but it took a few visits to warm up to her. She is not very talky talky but I like her enough! All the nurses and ultrasound techs are really nice...
Janet S. replied:
Callison and Kakani deliver a lot of babies so you will may have wait times....
Elisa A. replied:
Dr. Lynda Gilliam. She delivered both of my babies in Decatur. I kept driving to Decatur for my yearly after we moved to Madison, but last year she joined the group at the Women's Pavilion. LOVE LOVE LOVE her and her nurse, Ivy. A thousand recommendations for them.
Cyndi L. replied:
I recommend Dr Loncar. She's at the Madison Clinic for Women location. I was previously a patient of Dr. Rushing's and I switched to Loncar during my 2 nd pregnancy after seeing her when Dr Rushing was out of the office. I rarely have a wait at her office, although she spends as much time as you need with her and she's very personable.
Christa W. replied:
I do not recommend Clinic for Women. And I haven't heard good things about the all female practice in that building either. I hear good things about Dr Speed and I like Dr Conrad.
Becky P. replied:
I hear great things about them. However, I'm partial to Dr. Loncar and Rushing at the Clinic for Women, plus they are in Madison too
Rachel T. replied:
Dislike Dr. Speed
Amanda H. replied:
Dr. Loncar is great.

Stay far far away from Callison and Kakani! I recommend Agayuo with All Women OBGYN in Huntsville.

I go to Dr. Reidy at TN Valley OB/GYN. I love her... she hangs the moon.
Looking for a Primary Care Doctor here in Madison.
Suggestions?
Bonnie H. replied:
It's difficult to find a new doctor; mine just moved, so I recently went through that process. I'm now going to an internist on Jeff Road: Dr. Kortni Gillman. Although I've seen her only once, I liked the office (clean and new) and her staff (all frien dly). Dr. Gillman is young, thorough, and personable. I only waited about 10 minutes, plus she didn't make me wait long to see her even though I was new. She carries around her laptop, and that gives me confidence. smile emoticon She's a D.O., rather than an M.D., so that's something you need to know. There's a changing billboard on 72 that's advertising so-and-so is accepting new patients; I don't remember what organization that is, though.
Michelle C. replied:
Dr. Katie is the girl to see. Heritage Medical on County line Rd. My daughter who is 22 and in nursing school, found her and just loved her as she is so personal and has the most out going attitude. Liz loves her staff as they really could relate to he r being a nursing student. They have very friendly attitudes to you even though they aren't working with you. You just feel like you have known them for a while. I have just switched to her and I am so glad that I did. as a new patient she will do a complete physical and all your blood work as she likes to know everything about her patient. She gives great referrals to her family of doctors that she is close with. Most are the top doctors in Huntsville as I just recently saw a good one. If you would like her no. let me know. I have referred two of my friends to her and one was a male. Both loved her from the first time they met her.
I am in serious need of a new doctor. He just changed my thyroid meds and now I have serious rapid heartbeat at night. can't be normal. anyone know what specialist does...
