Our go-to in downtown Blue Ridge is The Masseria. We love the Salmon BLT and the outdoor seating so we can take our dogs with us. There are plenty other pet friendly places but the Salmon BLT is hard to beat.

I haven't been here long, but: 1) Isis Restaurant & Music Hall on Haywood St. in Asheville is very good and not overly priced; 2) Smoky Shadows Lodge in Maggie Valley. Great home cooking and their Tomato Pie is extraordinary! Think a cross between pizza and a quiche; 3) Haywood Smokehouse in either Dillsboro or Waynesville, and 4) Maggie Valley Rendezvous.
