Jocelyn ...have you tried Cook Childrens Pediatrics in Mansfield on South Matlock, a couple blocks from Mansfield Methodist? Dr. Robert Mann was our ped for Jenae and Alex for almost 20 years and we loved him! If he wasn't able to see them same day, we were always able to get in to see one of his associates. I'm not sure if he's still practicing but worth a check. Good luck!!

I've used Dr. Desiree Harris since the kids were born and love her. She's part of Cook Children's Network. Her office is located in Arlington off Mayfield and Center. Every time I call, they get us in. If she is not available, then we'll see one of her partners, who have all been awesome as well. Good luck.

He WILL NOT give ur child medication if it's actually not needed and some people are so against that and want to feed meds to their kids every time they are sick. He is amazing, kind and patient. Dr Arouse in Cleburne is great. My daughter hated all Dr's from the time she was too young to supposedly have such thoughts like 8 weeks. When she was about 18 months old I switched to him and she looks forward to going.:) his PA is awesome also I didn't catch her name but she was awesome .

Did you check with the Medical Clinic of North Arlington? Dr. Hampton is really good, where I went growing up. Don't know if he's accepting new patients, he's probably pretty old by now, but he would be able to recommend you someone good.

Dr. Daniels has been all 3 of my kids pediatrician for years. Same office as Dr. Mann, on Matlock just before you hit Broad.

Dr Daniels has seen my children as well. Everyone in the office is fabulous.

Dr. Tomberlin. She is highly rated in Mansfield. She also has a lactation specialist there to help with breast feeding. They are a wonderful staff.

Dr Gibson-Hull is amazing. She takes BCBS and was the first doctor to listen to me about Kali's asthma. She's on Collins in S. Arlington.

Dr. Stephanie Gold is who we use. I love her. She doesn't make you feel rushed or anything. And the wait time is usually minimal.

I use Dr Daniels at Cooks in Mansfield, I like him but more than recommending him, we didn't have a pediatrician when we had logan. The one I told them in the hospital is not who we went to, so don't worry too much about it, you really can change afterward.

David Podgurecki, MD is a GREAT family practitioner - he sees our whole family. Has been our kids doctor since they were born. Mansfield dental associates (Blair Jones) Our entire family goes to him. We've been going to him for 15 years. Great dentist, great staff and VERY efficient office - no wait.

We're from Moore & my kids went to Briarwood (moved 6 months prior to the 5/20 tornado). I graduated from Moore HS. Small world! Dr Bauer is Mansfield Family Dentistry on Broad. I even take my children there & they really like them. I'm pretty positive you won't have a winter here like your previous one.

We use Dr Joki at the Cooks practice on Matlock and really like him and the practice. I suggest avoiding Dr Prater in town as she was terrible and we had several bad experiences before switching.

I was on bed rest so Brian had to pick the pediatrician himself!:) We see Dr. Gray at Cook's, but we've seen and liked most of the other doctors/nurse practitioners there as well. It's always been easy to get an appointment.

We love Dr. Mann but I'm not sure he's seeing new patients. Dr. Joki has the best nurse practitioner, Leslie Summers Beale. There are a lot of good doctors around here. All should let you set up a free appointment to talk to them before the baby arrives. That's why I went with Dr. Mann, he gave me his full attention and answered my questions completely.

Dr. Gold is patient and kind and understanding and she is a mom that cares. Her nurse is amazing too.

Dr. Archer is very patient and listens, doesn't rush, makes necessary referrals to specialist and has amazing follow up. She called me one evening to check on Trey after we had been in the ER earlier that day. I'm assuming cooks children let her know we were there, I sure didn't. She is truly amazing and so is her nurse. They also have a quick turn around on calling in prescriptions and other paper work. The get it done immediately. Hope that helps Leila

Dr. Roger Knapp, if you can get in. Without a doubt, one of the best doctors I've ever met. He helped us with Courtland's birth (post-birth work) when we had to evacuate Houston because of Hurricane Rita.

Dr. Raines for sure. He circumcised tristan and tristan loves him. He knows us by name and acts like Tristan's grandparent every time we go in. He's directly behind where you'll deliver. He's such a sweet guy and is awesome about encouraging us and giving samples every time we see him.

Dr. Linda Phan is who I take my son to. She's at Mansfield Methodist. He hated going to his old Dr but when I switched to her he loves it. She's great!
