Looking for an affordable dog daycare for my cavalier King Charles . Somewhere close by in maple valley where I can drop her off in the afternoon so she can play outside...
Ginger Passarelli , thank you so much for your referral of me! Though as a certified professional dog trainer, who is thankfully incredibly busy, I just do private in-home lessons and Camp good dog (board and train). I don't do pet sitting, although i t looks like there are a lot of great people here offering their services! If anyone does need training or behavior modification, see www.onegooddog.org I am booked until the middle of April but can schedule appointments after that.

You could try going to childcare.org and they are a referral service for many licensed daycare providers. Or you could try care.com or sittercitty.com and try to find a nanny.

Pam Tangeman of Munchkin Manor. She is the kindest and gentlest lady. She is a grandma (but youngish) and truly loves children. She runs an in home licensed daycare on Lake Morton Drive which is right off of Covington-Sawyer Rd. She has two assistants. Kathy is a grandma and very loving but really helps the kids learn the rules. Tabitha provides circle time, show and tell, songs, and book day where the kids bring fave books and she reads to them throughout the day. My daughter went there from four months to two years old. they are like a second family to us. Pam's rates are AMAZING for infants. 253-508-3699

Oh sorry, it's down from Lk. Wilderness. Paula Palmer is the director very well known by Tahoma. She drives kids to each school even. Asset to the community. It's at the church by the golf course but does not push the religion aspect if you aren't for that. It really id a great place. I do not believe they charge you for days you don't use them either. At least they used to be a drop in type. 425 432 1980 I'm sure any teacher at the grade schools at Tahoma would say the same. I've had several teachers actually say it is an absolute asset to the community. You may see her dropping kids off on her route...lol from daycare at sons hip to all of the grade schools in the am and she picks up after school. Pricing is very reasonable as well.
Looking for in-home child care for an 8 week old starting end of may beginning of June. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks.

FREE Preschool Resource Fair on Jan. 29, 6:00-7:30 pm at the Greater Maple Valley Community Center. Families with young children: come to meet representatives and gather information from area preschools, businesses, child care facilities, and other organizations that serve families with young children. Most area preschools open registration for the fall in late Jan/early Feb, so now is the time to start looking.
