Dr Kirby Nelson for Orthodontics and dr. Eric Hagman for dentist! I was a dental assistant for five years and I'll tell you what you couldn't get better Doctors! Before I became a dental assistant my kids went to dr. O'Brien in Renton and my daughter was placed in an apparatus of some sort for an open bite which she never had! That was when we first moved out here and Maple Valley 26 years ago and I wasn't a dental assistant at the time. Stay away from dr. Burnett who has my kids dentistry and stay away from dr. O'Brien! Dr. Hagman was my observation office and I've been seeing him for 25 years, and both of my kids went through Kirby Nelson for their Orthodontics!

I've been to a few dentists over the years - and I was amazed at what previous dentists missed - I highly recommend https://www.facebook.com/263072443899158 Inspired Dentistry by Dr. Alice Chen - it's a quick drive out Petrovisky but the quality care you will get there is well worth the extra 5 or 10 minutes. they might have some specials for new customers so be sure and ask.

Dentist hand down Dr. Eric Hagman! He and his hygienists are amazing, even my kids (5&7) ask when they get to go back. Orthodontist Dr. Robert Haeger! I have been seeing Hagman for about 20 years myself, even drove over when I lived in Spokane just for a dentist appointment. Haeger is awesome. He took care of my teeth and when I lost my retainer after 12 years from my last appointment it was like I had seen him yesterday.

For adults we like Maple Valley Modern Dentistry and for kids we like Cascade Kids Dentistry! I’m sure modern dentistry is great with kids too but ours or little and Cascade Kids is great for really little kids!

Dr O'brien in Renton. My daughter had to have braces put on 3 times, because of an exttra tooth and we were happy every time.

Ask anyone who knows me, I HATED the dentist. Finally found Dr. Lee and my hygienist Beth and I look forward to going. Beth has "OCD" about cleaning and I can't think of a better profession to have OCD. Dr. Lee is the gentlest dentist I have ever had and I have had a lot.

I recommend Dr. Galloway in North Bend. It's a little drive, but he's been our dentist for 13 years, and he is really great. Small town doctor who is sensitive to people who are afraid of the dentist. He and his wife have a small practice in the center of town. http://www.drgallowaydds.com/

Aaron Wellborne in Issaquah is the best dentist! So calm, patient and non-judgmental. Also they have TV's over the chairs so you can watch a show while you get your teeth worked on. It's seriously a very relaxing experience. We look forward to going, even for dental work.

I have the same issue, dr Benson had oral cancer as a young adukt, its what made her become a dentist, so that others woukdnt have to feel and go thru what she did. I had an extraction and didnt feel a thing. She took her time, stopped if i needed her to, she absolutely took my fear away.

Maple Valley Modern Dentistry, Dr Shah, is awesome! The dental chickens in our house don’t mind the dentist much any more. He and the entire staff are great!

We love Dr. Jacy Nelson in Renton. Hygienists are gentle yet thorough. Dr Nelson has a great sense of humor, and he's conservative with his suggestions on treatment. He's not quick to "drill, fill and bill," and instead he's honest about what really needs to be done now or what can wait to see if it heals on its own (some cavities can infact heal!) Also he's great at numbing. We are picky, and I highly recommend him.

I love Dr Holt at Maple Valley Dentist (it's by the pink elephant at Four Corners, but not the same place you're avoiding)

First question is what ins. Do you have, and are you only wanting to see a POO dentist? I work in the dental field and I would totally recommend Dr. Rude in Maple Valley. Don't let the name sway you he's so nice, and his staff is too! I've worked with him a lot in the past. Anywhere youh go if you want a PPO dentist make sure you ask up front if they're in network. Hope this helps
