I go to the one up from QFC every two weeks. It's called Lovely Nails. They do quality work and if you have any problems or the shellac chips too soon they fix it for free.

Sounds like Sa Tran is promoting her business, I thought this was for recommendations by clients to another looking for an excellent shop and experience. My vote is for Lovely Nails, they have been in the same location since I moved to Maple Valley. Very friendly and excellent work.

Covington Nails is by far my favorite (in between Hallmark store and Safeway)! Tip to Toe by MV Fred Meyer is 2 nd.. the owner there used to work for Covington Nails so they are very similar to them.

I have to say Covington Nail by Covington Safeway even though I live in Maple Valley. Ann for pedicures, Amy for manicures, and JIMMY for pink and whites! They are the nicest people (all of them not just my 3 chosen ones). I've been a repeat customer for years even though there are bigger, newer and "fancier" places out there!

Do not go to the place across from elements massage, if you want the color to last more than a couple of days. MV nails by Safeway is awesome. There also is a great place in Fairwood over by where Albertsons is. And the one by Home Depot in Covington is great also.

We just did Tip and Toe for both with my daughter. While I like it there..if you go on weekend even with reservations it is packed and we waited often. Sat in pedi chair soaking for like 30 minutes. After, sat in chair at mani table and the owner got up and down numerous times. It literally took like 3 hours for both. I'd aim for early if you are doing a weekend. Otherwise, I like it there.
