The best advice is to interview a couple of excelled brokers. In the case of your home you need good representation. While you can find someone to buy your house on your own puting it on the market for the mass of the public to buy is the best offer situation for you. Being represented to make sure those are the best offers and choose 1, is in your best interest! Most buyers want to be represented by a professional as well, so often you might be eliminating potential multiple offers, which can increase you net. Most homes with an excellent broker sell for 102+% of market value while discounted brokers or For Sale by Owners have been selling for 89-95% of value. ❤
