Check out Canine Connections in Snoqualmie. They pair at risk youth with dogs to train and earn their Canine Good Citizenship. It truly is a fantastic organization for pups and people.

Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue has a Food Bank that they take donations and then people can come get food from them. My girls have done food drives for their birthdays and then brought it to the location to drop off before.

If parents of your daughter's friends work at corporations with company match programs cash donations are best. (Eg Microsoft, Boeing, Nordstrom et al) MS for example matches cash donations dollar for dollar. The supplies are a great idea too, since it is fun to collect items and deliver them. Food banks love pet food donations, so thats an idea as well.

Personally I love goats and have thought about asking Puget sound goat rescue if they could bring some goats to a party to guest to cuddle/love for a donation. https://www.facebook.com/PugetSoundGoatRescue/

I second Seattle Humane Society or Burien C.A.R.E.S. Both are really accommodating and use the donations to ensure pets receive the treatment they need and adoption fees stay low, unlike those shelters that charge $400 on top of asking for additional donations.

A rescue would greatly benefit from these donations. In addition to smidget rescue also check out motley zoo animal rescues http://www.motleyzoo.org/
Is there anyone who feeds their dogs completely raw? If so, where have you found the best, meat, fruits and veggies that are also affordable? Are there any farmers in...

We do! We buy Northwest Naturals nuggets. At Pet Central in Kent they do 25% off raw Fridays so it ends up being about the same per lb. Our pup has allergies and has really benefited moving over to raw. We also love junkyard bones from Renton for tendons and stuff for him to chew on.

Yes.. for many years. I get the majority of their food from our local raw Dog co op. I also buy direct from Plymouth Poultry & grind my own. Link for Co op http://www.wazzuor.com/

Feeding raw is the best thing I could have ever done for my dogs. I have fed NW Naturals & currently feeding Darwins.
