I’m sorry. Such a hard decision but you’ll know when it is the right time. Lap of Love- Dr. Rhodes (425) 208-6072 We’ve had to do this a few times and our experience with her was the best. So much compassion and patience with us, so much respect, love and care for a dog she had never met. She goes the extra mile for sure from before the appointment to during and even with her follow up. She took the time to make us a paw print in clay, she gave us a gift of for in a little clear container, and followed up by email and a card. We bought a box for ashes to be returned to us and it was beautiful. On a different note, used Carousel Mobile Vet a few years prior to that (because they were local) and I will never use them again but there were multiple factors that made a hard day even harder. Good luck, in whomever you choose to go with, my thoughts are with you. ♥️

I'm so sorry.. It's so hard to say goodbye to our fur babies.. We contacted Lap of Love 425-208-6072. They were so kind, & it was as peaceful a goodbye as it could have been. I will always refer them, the empathy & kindness shown to us was a shining light in a sea of darkness for us. Our roommate was especially close to our dog, Bruno, & be had had to go to work there morning we had to put Bruno down. Dr. Rhoades was kind enough to wait until he was able to come home on his break, so he could say goodbye to his buddy.

We have had the unfortunate circumstance of having to say goodbye to a few pets. 2 were through our vet in Fairwood (Fairwood Animal Clinic) and the experience was the best that it could be. 1 was at Blue Pearl in Renton. They were also very supportive. 1 was at Seattle Veterinarians in Kirkland (this is where the local vet specialists work, and where I highly recommend anyone go that needs cancer treatment, surgery, etc. They were very supportive of an emergency situation with our young cat who ended up with lymphoma in his lungs.) As a person already stated, all veterinarians will work with you to make the end peaceful, and most will provide a condolence card and paw print.

My dog will be 16 next month, she has heart failure and severe airway disease, she sees Dr Devine, an Internal Medicine Specialist at Blue Pearl in Renton because her local family vet is very reluctant to treat her sometimes because she is so fragile and definitely won't treat as aggressively as Dr Devine. I'm very satisfied with her and the cost is basically the same as her family vet here in MV

It may be too far but Alphine hospital in Issaquah has a program where you pay monthly (like$50) and that includes all shots and spay/neuter microchip plus 5 visits per year. I’ve had my pups for 4 months and already saved several hundred by doing this.
