Does anyone know of a no-kill shelter for cats? My mom is moving in with my family & she had 3 kitties that we need to re-home. Any suggestions?
Stephanie R. replied:
You can contact Pet Social Worker (petsocialworker.org). She is here in Maricopa. If she can't take the cats then she should be able to direct you to who you can contact.

SO many great choices. Consider the Humane Society in CG and also Pinal County Animal Care & Control while u are in CG. Gila River's small shelter can be a hidden gem too! If you don't find a shelter dog, consider a rescue. PetFinder will have many and then of course there are other local rescues. We are www.PetSocialWorker.org - local in Maricopa. If I don't have a dog that is a good match for your family, I always find one from another rescue.:).
Stephanie R. replied:
Pinal County Animal Control in Casa Grande. We adopted our kitty from them and almost took home a dog too. If you look on their website they will list the adoptable dogs and cats.

Good Morning everyone!
Do you guys know of any animal shelters or pet stores around here? Looking to possibly adopt soon and I wanted to look around?!
Cindy M. replied:
We just got a new addition to our family from Pet Social Worker Rescue here in Maricopa. You can find Kimberley Diedrich on Nextdoor. Please adopt and don't buy. This is a picture of the kitty my son and daughter in law adopted yesterday with his puppy sister. They are over the top in love with him!
