Chelsey Moss...I am not a fan of boarding facilities so I use Rover.com, the pup stays in someones home, you go for an interview to make sure that your pup gets along with their critters...I intereviewed 2 different people and settled on "Claudia"...she charges $20 a day. Going through Rover gives you many benefits. Claudia does whatever your dogs routine is...she is great. Yes it is in Chandler but it is worth it. I chose not to use a "keep my dog at home" place cuz I know my pup needs more interaction...good luck...just another idea

Kimberly Diedrich Rover.com each contractor can choose to be fully bonded up to $25,000, and all emergency Vet bills are paid minus a $250 deductible..I made sure that Claudia had chosen this option. No different than if you came into my home and an accident happened with my dog. So I beg to differ they may be independent but can choose to have coverage. It is very comforting to me that someone who I have met, spent 2 hrs in their home, met there other pets, know how much of the day they are away,what they do with there own dogs...also I was able to see my pet via a type of "skype" for updates whenever I wanted (also how many other pups she will take at one time) all is a consideration. I just don't see a problem I did do my homework. I would shop local but there are no in home boarding options and I will not let my pets go to a "kennel" environment. I am sorry I will not. Most people on Rover.com were in my situation so decided to make space for others. Romp and Roam is not a boarding facility.

Kimberly Diedrich is great, but if she isn't available that weekend, Belinda Clifford and her brother are also very responsible and do an excellent job. They took care of my horses one week and actually handled a manure fire that started spontaneously. They stayed with it until it was 100% out--which with manure fires is a LONG time--and they didn't charge me extra to do that!

Kimberly Diedrich That is a great point. Parvo is so bad here. I have had a few clients that have Boarded their pusps and got sick.

Are there any facilities here in Maricopa that you can bring your pets to for boarding? Something like Preppy Pets in Tempe. Not too keen on giving someone the keys to the house just to watch dogs
