Lots of nice hotels. I'd stay in Scottsdale since the resorts will have special prices since its now getting hot. I personally prefer west valley area where I live. Wigwam Resort has a great history and beautiful resort. If you want inexpensive, I'd also look at Air bnb. This will have great prices for short trips
