Bernstein Allergy Group is a premier physician group and very active is research. I have been extremely pleased with the way my complicated allergies have been handled with this group. Dr. Bernstein discovered things that my previous allergist missed.

We changed from Ahmad to Sutton. Ahmad was big on meds. Sutton is aggressive with the shot therapy, my son is now off all 4 meds but one. 514-793-6861. Recommended by friends of ours who work at Children's.

We like Dr. Ann Ghory too. We just switched to Children's to Dr. Kimberly Risma mainly because she specializes in immunology which is Joe's issue. But she is an allergist as well. Think highly of both.

Dr Raub@group health. Got Sophia from 5 meds at one time to none! Got her asthma under control too. Now she only takes seasonal meds.

We used Dr. Sutton. He was great!

We live in Raleigh and see Dr. Mir (GI) at Unc - EoE is her specialty. Dr. Hernandez is our allergist at Unc. We also see nutrition, endocrinology, rheumatology and Pulmonology there! 3 of my 4 children have Eoe. My 6 year old has a g-tube and is on elemental formula. I was incredibly happy with the surgery department. Dr. Dellon is a UNC adult GI who specializes in EoE, my 15 year old is gradually transitioning to him. A lot of people like dr. Noel at duke too.

What age is your child? Cincinnati Children's Hospital are doing amazing research in conjunction with other hospitals and they just advertised this study for ages 6 - 17 yrs old. Sadly my little guy is too young but he was involved in a different study that was just published that linked certain protein as a trigger to EoE. Dr, Masood Ahmad. No one could fix my cough for years but Dr Ahmad did. Now my husband and granddaughter go there also. As do our family Dr's kids.

We have seen both Dr. Sutton and Dr. Anne Ghory. Both are great. If you are having a severe reaction go to the hospital. Otherwise try benadryl plus pepcid (acts as antihistamine) and get in to doctor ASAP.
