Counseling/Therapists in Mason, OH

I would check out South Community in Kettering. I have a family member getting help there for substance abuse, and they have no health insurance. I know you don’t have substance problems, but it is also a mental health facility for Montgomery county. If they can’t help you, they will point you in the correct direction to get free or discount services for mental health. [south community website](http://www.southcommunity.com)

I've seen therapists all over the area. Jeri at [Kline Associates](https://www.klineandassociates.com) was nice, but I forgot a session and was too broke to pay the no-show fee. I currently go to [CCPC-Ohio](http://ccpc-ohio.com/) and see Lynda.

[TCN](https://www.tcn.org/) is a pretty decent place. They have several locations, in Xenia, Fairborn, and Kettering at least, and i believe they have a sliding scale option available if you don't have insurance. BTW, it is terrible to hear the combination of "career" and "no insurance" - *wtf, America??*

I'm not sure about therapists in the area, but I know there are a lot of AA meetings in the area. And while I don't know if you suffer from alcoholism or not, meetings are a good place to go and get shit off your chest anonymously. And they're free. Good luck homie.

Our pediatrician's office, Northeast Cincinnati Pediatrics, has a counselor on staff (maybe 2). Haven't used them personally, but have heard positive feedback. There is an office off of Cornell in Blue Ash (I pass Sycamore to get there). Not sure if counselor(s) are at multiple offices or just Landen.

Bridgepointe in Blue Ash. So sorry to read this. I work at Sycamore High School. Please encourage mom to talk to Dr Mack (assistant principal) or dean of students. They are very hands on.

The Lindner Center of Hope in Mason in terrific depending on your needs.

I know the Mason City school systems have therapists IN the school from Solutions Counseling Centers. They are NOT school employees. Maybe the school system has something similar.

Mary Matias Akhtar or Beckett Springs now has outpatient psychiatric services. St Joseph’s also has walk in clinic hours, if you need in sooner. Most psychiatrists around here have at least a month wait.

The Lindner center of hope is amazing. I highly recommend it. They are not covered by anthem though. They have a great program for teens to see therapist but also to take classes with other teens about how to handle issues in life in a more positive way. It’s called DBT or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and it’s amazing how it can help someone. They are very caring people there. Plus, they would want to make sure your happy so they would try to match your teen up with the best therapist. Good luck and I hope you find someone who works for your family.

Also, if it is your first massage, it's pretty cheap... And you can lock into that rate if you schedule once a month. for me, it is totally worth the 40 minute drive there! 513.755.1192 they have one in mason, but there are significantly fewer therapists there.
