I've burned through a lot of therapists over the years and [Jill](http://www.cincinnatipsychcenter.com/practitioners/jill-chiara.html) at Cincinnati Center For Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis has been by far the best. I don't think she takes insurance, though. Can also vouch for the people at [Hyde Park Counseling Professionals](http://hydeparkcounseling.com/).

Hello beautiful people. Does anyone here know of a hypno therapist/ regressionist who uses the QHHT method pioneered by Delores Cannon?

Jimi Merk?
Nicole J. replied:
Although I don't practice that particular type of hypnotherapy, the methods I use are very effective. I also teach self-hypnosis to all of my clients as well, www.hypnoticwellnessmethods.com
Thomas R. replied:
I would avoid hypno and go instead for the method described by Schlotterbeck. http://www.amazon.com/Living-Your-Past-Lives-Psychology/dp/0595258786 At least study if first and see if it makes sense to you.
Sounds like you have become conditioned to your response. Please also contact Julie Bryant. She performs NADA accupuncture which is designed for addiction and PTSD. She is fabulous. Her company is Soothing Soles.

Mandy, I was very pleased with the support that I received from Dr. Janet Castellini. I don't know what her specific specialty is but I know I always saw a lot of families in her waiting room. I almost think it is more important to find someone that your family likes and can be comfortable with vs. someone that specializes in a field because no matter how awesome they are in their field, if your kids aren't comfortable with them they won't talk and things won't get better. Her number is 513-961-7799. She is off of Highland Ave down by UC but well worth the drive.

Recommendations for a therapist in Cincinnati? I've [24M] been thinking recently that I want to talk to someone to see if it might help my depression. Does anyone have...
Anonymous replied:
I have received great care from the resident psychotherapy clinic at UC, which is $20/hour if you have health insurance, free if you have Medicaid. The residents do talk therapy, but are able to prescribe medicine if you need it. The residents are advised by expert teachers.

Not sure what part of town you are in but the following list provides a few options. http://www.cincinnatimagazine.com/top-doctors-archive/psychiatry-2/ I would recommend seeing a psychiatrist over a psychologist. I have battled depression most of my life and have seen both; had much more success with a psychiatrist. Also, check with your medical insurance and see who in the area they cover. Best of luck!

Heather B. replied:
I'd have it checked out then. Pain comes & goes but is pretty uncomfortable. Depends on where the stone is located if that's indeed it. Dr. Kahn is my friends dad...so if he does need surgery I second that.
Jenny V. replied:
I know you said you did not like Wellington, but have you seen Dr Roberts there, or Dr Kahn?
Trisha R. replied:
Paul will fight to the death before he will go to Urgent Care or the ER. Men!!

Before jumping on the Ortho Surgery train tell him to try Mike Rolfes at Beacon. He's a Chiropractor like no other. Works on the Reds and many other pro athletes. Might still need an MD, but this will give him relief. 513-354-3800

Premier Physical therapy - almost all of them are doctors of physical therapy and they are fantastic. Avoid surgery at all costs! Most back surgeries don't fix the problem. Trust me, I've read many, many exam reports and medical for injured workers who have had back surgeries and they are in worse shape than before surgery. Tell him to try PT first!

You are making a serious cognitive error by claiming that being religious and being a good therapist are mutually exclusive. You're also being a complete cunt, but that seems more endemic to your personality than this particular question. And maybe also relates to your need for family therapy? -Also an atheist in Cincinnati
