Can anyone recommend a podiatrist? My husband thought he had fasciitis pain but it's been AT LEAST four weeks now. Serious and hilarious recommendations welcome!

Go to The Running Spot or Fleet Feet. Get a good pair of running shoes and some arch supports- I use Power Steps. Years ago, when I was first diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, I could barely walk from the pain. Within 1 week of getting power steps and good shoes my feet were much better. Within a couple weeks I was pain free. Also- put water in those tiny little 3-5 oz dixie cups and freeze it. You can peel back some of the cup and ice your foot. Frozen bottles of water or even canned goods are good to put on the floor and run your foot over it- roll it under your entire foot. That helps. Get a Foot Rubz massage ball. This thing has helped so so much when i am wearing shoes other than running shoes a lot. It's cheap and you will feel some relief within a few mins. I take this on vacation with me if i know i will be walking a lot. https://www.amazon.com/Due-North-Massage-Plantar-Fasciitus/dp/B002QEY6NK/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1503720515&sr=8-2&keywords=rubz%2Bball&th=1

We went to Dr. Patel in Mason. The office was great, the people who work there are great. The whole process was hell. 6 treatments of having the thing frozen. Finally said enough, they gave us a cream, we put it on at night, put duct tape over it, it was gone in a week.

Speaking from my own experience, I would recommend a podiatrist. I had Dr. Brad Wenstrup but he is no longer in practice. I went to a dermatologist first and it was hell, and it didn't go away, just grew back with a vengeance!
