We see Baker House in Morrow. They have walk in hours most afternoons (no office visit charge) and they are very up front about pricing. Our animals have received very good care there, and the vets always call to check on them.

Dr Mark Applebaum at Appletree Pet clinic. He's on Galbraith rd, but we still drive down there to him because he's been so loving with our animals.

My daughter and I love Dr. Applebaum he is the most caring vet. I rescued a yellow Lab that feared men and would bark so loud and it was all just fear but she never barked one time just so loving with him. He said he couldn't believe she has a fear but trust me she does still but nothing with him. He is awesome.

Dwire's Country Kennel is the best! You will not find anyone better to care for your dog.

K9 Country Club on Butler Warren and 42 is great. We never use anyone else. Our dog loves it there and is always exhausted from playing so much when we pick her up. Great people.

http://www.pfisterah.com/ We take our dogs there when we go on vacation and they get their grooming and yearly check ups while they are being boarded. The boarding is very reasonable in cost, comparable to other facilities. Plus I know the doctors are right upstairs if there are any issues.

If you want full day of play and boarding overnight, then Camp Bow Wow in Blue Ash is only a few exits right off 71. I've heard great things about Dwire's too, but haven't used them because my younger Lab does great I an all day play situation. Avoid Red Dog Mason -- a rip off and they have 0 patience for dogs that excitedly play. We found Puppywood to be dirty, smelly and didn't handle things well when my dog picked up a virus during a long stay there.

We do Petsmart for daycare a lot and they're great. Unfortunately they double charge for boarding and Daycare, so you're looking at $65 a day by the time you're done. Too rich for my blood. Camp Bow Wow is half that

An Easy Walk Harness is great and a Rok Strap leash is a great way to have more control without possibly causing neck harm to your dog. I also do in home training and will travel to Mason.

Hunter Pet Care in Franklin, it's 15 mins north on 75. They are a combination of eastern/western medicine. They believe in treating your pet naturally when possible. I have a cat with a chronic condition and LOVE that she is treated with herbs not steroids. They do acupuncture and laser therapy there too. They do the normal Vet stuff too so it's awesome to have both sides available. Plus the rates are very reasonable. Not Red Dog

Best Friends Pet Care. They get a nice big indoor/outdoor run with bedding, walks, one on one cuddles, and playgroup with other dogs (IF that fits their temperament). They always remembered our dog and greeted her warmly every time we boarded-which wasn't more than once or twice a year. (And did the silly stuff we asked, like give her a special treat on Christmas Day-even sent us a picture.:))

We love Camp Bow Wow in Blue Ash. Our dog gets to play and run and seems to enjoy being there

You may want to look at Camp Bow Wow. The dogs are out in supervised play areas during the day. At 10 months though your pup will have to have been neutered.

K9 Country Club in Mason - I send mine there for daycare twice a week. Lots of doggie friends to play with, and Amy & Joe are the best!

We use Denise's Animal House in Lebanon. Love them! They have a huge fenced in play yard and they live right at the facility!!

I boarded my 2 dogs at Liberty Vet hospital on Yankee.....Also where I take my dogs for grooming and check ups! They're pretty good!

County Animal Hospital they stay in huge kennels each dog has their own staff lets them out every 2 hours. Fresh water 3 X a day. Play time with a staff member free bath after 10 days of stay. And if you want us to text you we can do that even send you pictures 513-398-8000

I've had good experiences with Camp Bow Wow! They are only in the cage to eat and sleep. And, I love their video cameras. Bad experience at Red Dog. I'd stay away from them.
