The paint on the exterior of the Suites I built over 13 years ago is original. Other than some touch ups it's still in great shape. The secret you ask? Instead of standard wall sealer before painting my crew used slightly diluted roof sealer or impermeabilizante. I used Comex Top and Vinamex paint.

I was green and new to Mexican construction methods at the time. The old dude that I hired to paint the building turned me on to that method. It's the only way I have painted since. On an older structure prep is everything. I have no contact info for that painter as it was long ago. We have had some great painters at the hotel lately. Lucy will see if she can find contact info for you.

Francisco (669) 987-1693 Wonderful painter. Brings a big crew so it doesn't take forever. Prep is great. We have been using him for 10 years. And yes, about 3 years outside. Saltire is another story however. It can come back within weeks. Helps to take it down to the adobe brick.

Cell # is 044-(669) 164-50-17 He has painted a truck canopy for us and a motorcycle and a trailer also. Looks like a hole in the wall, but he does a great job and speaks excellent english. I would suggest google the address to find it and get directions from him. Just off of Insurgentes, in between Insurgentes and Independencia.
