Brookwood Animal Clinic in Jackson. They are awesome been using them for years
Kimberly W. replied:
Jackson Vet is amazing, got all of my dogs fixed, shots, and check ups and didn't spend anywhere near $500 and that is what I budgeted for 3 dogs!
Kathye H. replied:
Have used both vets in town for both dogs and cats and much prefer Jackson Vet on 2 nd st. Great people very caring and reasonable prices.

Real sweet and caring people at Jackson Vet!!
Teresa F. replied:
Jackson vet is a bit high. Brookwood was really expensive. If you don't mind a 30 min ride go to Memorial drive vet in Griffin. Reasonable honest caring.

Lake Dow Animal Hospital off Highway 81 in McDonough. Its only about $30-$40 for the visit and shots. I think if your dog is under 60 lbs the spay/neuter is $90. The staff is super friendly and very polite. Prices are good. I've been using them for about 2 years now. I highly recommend them. 770-957-4040

Jackson Veterinary Clinic on 2 nd St is my vet. 770-775-5710. I've been using them for two years and my brother and his wife for many years. Dr. Alan Burdette is very knowledgable and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Lora Morgan is there on Wednesdays and is also someone that I trust. The staff is always friendly and will take time to discuss any issues or concerns that you may have. We've been through routine visits, injuries, sickness, and even surgeries, and never have I had a doubt with them. Having said that, someone may have input on Brookwood Animal Clinic. I've never used them because I found my doc for my family.

ISO local vet that is cheap. My dog cut open his leg and needs stitches. Please help
Rachel P. replied:
Eagles Landing Animal Clinic off 42 had good prices imo Given the hours though, your only choice may be the Emergency Vet in Fayetteville. They stitched up my dog when she had a gash on her head on a Sunday morning. You can't even see the scar and she's a short hair.

Woodland Animal Hospital in Locust Grove (previously Mallards Landing) is 24 hours.

Jessica M. replied:
Do NOT take to Woodland they will price gouge you as they did me. Go to Dr Lisa Chambers at Locust Grove Veterinary Clinic. It's at the corner of Bill Gardner and 42. My cat got attacked by a dog about a week ago and Woodland tried to charge me $1,200! Of course like most people I couldn't afford it. So I took him to Dr Lisa once I found out about her and she saved his life and only charged me $150.
Carey F. replied:
There's a 24 hour vet in Locust Grove/McDonough. Used to be Mallards Landing Vet, but they changed their name. Their vet prices are decent. It's across from the Publix on 155

Berry Hill Pet Hospital, the best prices I've seen. Stockbridge or McDonough. Next to the lil airport.
