It is now called 5 Generations Bakery. They are family of the original Jenny Lee bakery. They are only producing the Cinnamon Bread now and it is distributed in a number of stores in Western PA.. You can order it on line at this link http://www.5 generationbakers.com/

There are no more Jenny Lee Bakeries open. The original bakery was 7 Baker Brothers which was located in the West End then Jenny Lee bought them over. My Grandparents met and worked at 7 Baker Brothers.

I think the Jenny Lee on Island Avenue in McKees Rocks is still in business. I went to this one as well as the one that used to be in the Kenmawr plaza in Kennedy township.

I contacted Theresa's bakery via facebook...they responded within minutes despite the fact that it was late at night...and they told me that they do not make banana cookies. Oh well. The recipe provided looks like what I remember so I'll give baking them a try. Thanks for researching this for me!
