Doreen, I think I mentioned this place to you. They have individual therapists but also some great support groups. I don't think it's grief-specific, but there were definitely others for whom grief was their major issue (including another woman who lost her adult daughter). https://www.mainlinehealth.org/specialties/behavioral-health-womens-emotional-wellness-center

http://www.mg-ts.com/index.php/about-us They are right in media, and they take insurance here’s a list of some of the therapist and what they specialize in. Also my father-in-law went to a grief group at Nativity Church in media I don’t know if that would interest you, but I highly recommend those therapists. So sorry for your loss, I highly recommend Kim Castner. Both links I listed you can email or call therapist when you click on their name and page and read about them. I see kim Castner for grief and she’s amazing caring compassionate and so easy to talk to 6 th street in media

Hello .. I’m new to the area and was wondering if anyone knew a good child therapist in this area?
Gary S. replied:
Child therapist, eh? A good therapist requires years of training and experience, as well as an emotional stability that is beyond the reach of children, who are almost entirely useless as therapists. Do consider a seasoned adult for your therapeutic needs.:) Oh, wait, you meant a therapist for your child? CHOP is a good place to start, obtaining a solid evaluation and profile of the kid's needs is critical to figuring out what services to deploy, and how to integrate with the schools. http://www.chop.edu/centers-programs/child-and-adolescent-psychiatry-and-behavioral-sciences

Andrea, my chiropractor works with kids of all sorts of ages, but I'm not sure if he'll be what you need. He's up here in Hershey as well which is a bit of a hike for you. But in case it's helpful I go to Kostow Chiropractic. I'm glad to share the phone number if you wanted to get in touch with him.
