I go to Plank'd Fitness in Glen Mills - about a 10 minute drive from Media - to train with Andy Fernandez. The setup is exactly what you describe: small group classes. 3 days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri), the classes focus on strength, and the other 3 days (Tues, Thurs, Sat), the focus is on conditioning and endurance. They have classes throughout the day, starting at 5:30 am, and each class lasts 35-40 minutes. Their website is https://www.plankdfitness.com/
David Q. replied:
Hey Kevin. I am the lead instructor at Media Kettlebells - we just opened up for classes and we are right in town. Small group strength and conditioning classes (and personal training available too.) When learned with proper instruction, Kettlebells are great for building strength and stability for runners (and everyone else) and great for endurance and conditioning too. Focus is always on form and smart progressions. We can help you reach your strength and conditioning goals in a way that will compliment your running very well. First class is free. We offer single class and 10 class 'punchcard' options. We share a space with https://www.facebook.com/924013394293513 FitMax Krav Maga (also a great program if you are interested in self defense training) --- Check us out at www.mediakettlebells.com or on FB at www.facebook.com/mediakettlebells StrongFirst™ Certified Kettlebell Instruction
Any recommendations for a skilled but affordable personal trainer in the area for 2? In-home or at gym/other location if convenient. Thanks.
