Dr. Lee in Media is wonderful. He's right behind Difabio's on Providence Road. Time frame on spot and payments too. I didn't have the best experience at Forwood and Christie, ended up there by default when my child's orthodontist retired midway through treatment due to health issues. I feel like my son was in them double the time necessary since they didn't create his original plan. I also paid more than originally stated. I suggest you go to a few consults and see who you are most comfortable with. That's what I did with my daughter and myself too. Good luck.

My daughter went to Rich Orthodontics and I switched to Forwood and Christie for my son. So so so so different: more professional, much better communicating through the process and the facilities are 100% better. Good luck with your choice!

Dr Lee at Rose Tree Dental. Won’t pull teeth unless 100%needed. Which is really important. He is less expensive and has a great approach. Only ortho we went to that said he didnt need to take out teeth!

When I had braces back in 1978-1981, the orthodontist I had was on Dutton Street in Ridley Park. The doctor I had has since passed away, but I believe the office is still there. I think it was called Orthodontic Associates.

Infinity dental. Dr. Marianna Evans. She's incredible. And the office is so clean you could eat off the floor... Hahaha. Seriously, she totally fixed my sons teeth, widened the roof of his mouth, and opened up his airway to stop possible sleep apnea. So awesome!!!

Rose Tree Kids has payment plans. Not sure if that means a different fee structure for self-pay vs insurance, but you could call and ask. Their consult is free. Actually, it seems consults before orthodontic work starts are complimentary. We don't have orthodontic insurance (anymore...grrr), and the orthodontist there has seen my son annually for a couple of years now and his next appt will be after only 3 months (keeping tabs on baby tooth loss to better advise when he wants to start) and we've not been charged for any of them.

We use Forwood & Christie (2 locations; Media & Wallingford). We do not have Orthodox Ins. Our daughter is about 6 weeks in to hers. They offer payment plans & the staff is awesome
