Self-taught... Learned muscle testing and listening to what my body wants. Also, learned a great deal from The Emotion Code, cleared out many things which resulted in getting rid of migraines and panic attacks. And now I teach others how to do the same. It's a great feeling!

Mixture. I am a 33+ year cancer survivor. Virus attacked my DNA when I was 16 (mononucleosis by Epstein Barr (not cytomegalovirus)), and by 20 I had Hodgkins Disease, stage IIa. I did not see a doctor (for more than annual checkups and female things an OB/GYN would take care of) for over 20 years. Finally symptomatic, driven back to oncologist and cardiac doc about four years ago. Since I have scarring from the radiation treatments, I see doctors for tests to make sure no cancer is coming back and the scarring is not progressing too fast. Other than that insult to my body, I am healthier than most folks my age (53) -- stellar genes, I suppose. So don't do much other than self educate over the internet from "real" healthcare sites like the Mayo Clinic and the U.S. Nat'l Institutes of Health. That said, I absolutely do meditate, eat organic vegetables and fruits and grass fed meats primarily, and take vitamin supplements. Not a big fan of Dr Oz's or Oprah's recommendations, I prefer books and supplements that get reasonably believable "real people/ not paid sponsors" reviews on Google, Amazon, Vitamin Shoppe, and the like. In my 40's, I really made significant strides forward reading and following the advice of books like Bill Phillips' Body for Life (lots of similar books out there; this was popular at the time).

I am a dietitian and personal trainer who offers several services on my own, especially healthy cooking demos and methods. I also teach nutrition classes for the YMCA and Baptist Hospital. I will add a link to my Facebook page. Simple is my motto, and I have my degree, internship, and 15 years experience completed. I keep it small for now, though- I have 2 babies under 2 years. I would highly recommend Leslie Schilling for a more developed at-home plan (her supper plan). You can like my page for lots of tips and recipes, and message me with any questions you may have!
