Carmen at Legal Aid is really cheap, but she is not an attorney, she is a paralegal who can do all your paperwork. She is no longer with YMCA, she is on Redlands Blvd closer to Texas Street.

Joyce Holcomb in San Bernardino. I had Bob Falkenthal for years but he is retiring. I just hired Joyce Holcomb as she was onenof his recommendations and I love her. He also recommended Toby Bowler but warned me that he is pricey. He did say he is worth the money, if you have it. Good luck to you.
Can anyone recommend an attorney who specializes in wills and trusts estates.?
Thank you
Deborah A. replied:
Kathleen Elbreckson. I don't know if I spelled that right but she's very good. She handled my parents trust and I'd extremely professional and knows what's she's doing. She's on Orange Tree Lane.

With a court order in place and they are still refusing to cash it, sounds like they not only need to cash the check but pay your attorney fees, and give you extra $for time and energy. I don't bank with Wells Fargo as they screwed me over once.

You don't need to explain or justify to everyone here why what you are trying to do is valid...that's what your atty is for, and he is obviously doing his job. I'm sorry your are dealing with this! For everyone else...get a trust, and tell your parents to get a trust...the money spent isn't for the pieces of paper but the mental health of those who will be handling things once you're gone (and no one can plan that, so do it now). Also, this week, check your beneficiaries on your retirement, investment, life insurance and bank accounts to make sure they are correct...some of us opened our bank accts 20 yrs ago and have no clue who the beneficiary is. The people you love will go through hell when there is no trust...a will has nothing to do with a trust (unless it is a pour over will inside the trust) so please don't think a will solves it. Get. A. Trust.
