I see Dr. Silverblatt in Mentor. I have Hashimotos Disease which is an auto immune disease. "Dr. Silverblatt not only practices traditional Internal Medicine and may serve as a patient’s primary care physician, but also offers a “Functional Medicine” pathway in which a holistic approach to problems seeking to treat causes of illness rather than symptoms is utilized. Judicious use of vitamin and herbal supplements in conjunction with healthy nutritional guidance often take the place of medications and their consequent untoward side effects. Some common entities which Dr. Silverblatt is adept at treating include: Chronic fatigue, thyroid and adrenal disorders (using natural thyroid replacement preparations as opposed to synthetic whenever feasible), menopausal symptoms, low testosterone, arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia (without using statins), fibromyalgia and many more." Learn more by visiting the Services Page. He is great!!! its kind of far from me but SO WORTH IT!
