Center for Excellence in Eye Care in Baptist Hospital. Dr. Charles Keiser did my surgery last year and I've had no issues.
Scott S. replied:
Yes! I went to LASIK Plus in Salt Lake City several years ago. Their technology is top-notch and professionalism is first-class. I had a good experience despite being nervous initially. It cost me $3000 for both eyes and a lifetime warranty as long as I do annual check ups. They have useful payment plans if you need as well. I went thru surgery quickly and came out with 20/14 vision. Over the span of 2.5 years I now have just slightly worse than 20/20. I just did a check up a month ago and doc said I haven't changed in over a year and won't need contacts or "re-zapping" for a while yet. Do it my friend! It's literally life-changing and you won't regret it... and your girlfriends will look cuter at all distances!
Thomas K. replied:
Scott Schwab. Thanks buddy. I'm really leaning towards it. My vision is awful. Thanks for the link. Message me your cell. I lost all my contacts. Ill shoot you a buzz this week.

i went to rand eye institute near ft lauderdale. They do PRK, which is one type of corrective eye surgery. "lasik" is a specific method, and they don't do it there much anymore, unless there is a specific reason to do it over PRK.

Bascom Palmer has a LASIK / PRK clinic and the best doctors in the US. The wait times are horrible though.

People come from all over the world to go to Bascom Palmer--it's considered one of the best places for anything eye-related, and it's right here in Miami. I got mine there about 20 months ago, and am very happy with it. Might not be the cheapest place, but this probably isn't a budget type of thing anyway. Or at least, it shouldn't be.

Lasik in Miami recommendations (-8.5 myopia) Hello everyone:
I have quite high myopia and I am intent on having lasik correction. I would like to have the procedure...
AlCoCeR_ replied:
Hey man, how are you? I hope this can help you make ab decision. I'm 36 and I started wearing glasses when I was 4. About 5 months ago I had lasik in Weston, Fl. Not exactly Miami but 45 minutes away. I had both astigmatism and myopia and had lasik done in my left eye and the other one (can't remember the name right now) in my right eye. I had it done on a Friday and was already at work on Monday (I work in front of a computer all day long). Anyways, I recommend it 100%. Great people, great doctor, the place is extremely clean and they help with financing of that's something you need. Google correct vision weston and you'll find it there. Actually give me a sec. Let me see if I can find it for you. There you go http://www.correctvision.com/ I hope this helps. Have a great day.

Thanks I appreciate. I really value indications since it is difficult to find reliable information through Google Search.

I'm going to a place in Boca. My LASIK is the 27 th. This doctor is very thorough and will let you know if you're not eligible for LASIK. He's had experience with people healing and at times he recommends PRK over LASIK. His office also only does infraLASIK. That's where the initial cut is done with a femtosecond laser and not a knife. This has a faster recovery time since the cut is much thinner. I would avoid the LASIK Vision Institute at all costs. Do some googling about their eye plugs, and you'll see why. PM me if you want details about the Boca office.
