Can someone recommend a vet who will work with us on payment. Were having some trouble with out 11 month old cat. He's either acting funny because he's in heat or he...
Mikaela F. replied:
I can't recommend a vet, but if you're able, Care Credit is wonderful. It allows you to pay off your vet bill with 6-12 months no interest. Like Joanna said, urinary blockages can be life or death for a male cat.

I've used Animal Health Care in Hershey for 20+ years and have had multiple pets at one time. I've never had any problems with them. But this is like any business we use. They can have a hundred goods and one bad experience and the bad one shows up first. There are payment programs out there which they may be able to suggest to you. There number is 533-6745.
Nancy F. replied:
If I can get you in to Animal Health Care in Hershey will you take him to that clinic at 948 east Chocolate Avenue? I will need to explain to them his symptoms so can you tell me exactly what problems he's having? Their phone number is 533-6745.
ATTENTION VETERINARIANS: If we find out that you are killing healthy cats and dogs because of KILL REQUEST that someone is moving or divorcing or whatever stupid excuse...

Hi Linda, last I heard from you, you were apparently against no-kill. you might want to fully disclose your current position on that. As you may very well know, euthanasia is a mercy killing for an animal that is suffering. The law is very clear that killing a dog or cat is a felony. However I will state that we feel we are trailblazing (AND YES WE, I WONT TAKE ALL THE CREDIT BECAUSE MY GROUP HELPS A LOT) and will file a criminal complaint against any vet who kills a healthy animal and then has the audacity to call that euthing. And that is the Ag and Markets Law which I wont insult you that you are not aware of the NY state law since you are a NY state resident and apparently an anti-no-kill proponent (unless I am mistaken and you have either not held that position or you have changed that position). Can anyone please recommend a good veterinarian in the Middletown area? Thanks.
Paige M. replied:
Bayshore Vet Clinic is great! All three of the veterinarians are wonderful. It is a clean, comfortable, and very friendly environment. I had originally gone to the Home Vet Clinic in Belford and had an awful experience, but I would definitely recommend Bayshore!
Lori R. replied:
Atlantic Highlands Animal Hospital is great. I switched to them from Home Vet. They don't overbook so there is never a long wait and you don't have to sit in a crowded waiting room. Both my dogs lived over their projected life expectancy under their care.
Susan C. replied:
Used Red Bank Vet. I decided to try Home Vet and had a horrible experience with one of the Drs and went back to Red Bank. Pricey but worth it.
Michelle T. replied:
Red Bank Veterinary...Dr. Trotter. A bit more expensive but worth it.
Diane O. replied:
You could try Happy Tails in Shrewsbury.
Chrissy K. replied:
Middletown Animal Hospital
Bernadette G. replied:
Red Bank vet super expensive and do.unnecessary tests

Dr. Droz at Home Vets.
Donna P. replied:
We've been going to Home Vet for years and love them

Red Bank Vet is amazing, not sure if that is too far for you.

My family uses Londonderry Animal my cat is very sensitive and only likes Dr. Balanch (spelling) (sounded out is bell-ang) she is very kind and gentle
Kari K. replied:
HERSHIRE is my vet. Dr. Brauner is awesome. He saved the lives of many of my pets.
Anyone know of a good vet that would accept payments instead of it all upfront? Or if anyone on here is a vet willing to help us out. Please PM Me. Thank you in advance.
Adrienne A. replied:
Not sure if you are opposed to credit cards but Londonderry accepts Care Credit. You can usually get so many months interest free.
Elaine D. replied:
No Derry st doesn't have a vet. The Banfield vet is in the Petsmart on the Carlisle Pike.
Amanda S. replied:
You can apply for Care Credit I believe for vet bills.
Cathy W. replied:
Dr Edward Mimnaugh in Hershey, was always reasonable and worked with you on payment arrangements
Samantha S. replied:
But I am just not sure what Londonderry Vet charges for a new patient exam.
3/28 Honey remains elusive despite offering her some wonderful, stinky meals. We would like help with expanding the area of posters and getting the word out about...
Carin T. replied:
We made some progress today, have many posters to share, so if you need some, please contact me and I can get them to you and let you know areas that need to be postered. I am looking for someone to help me poster tomorrow morning about 10 am, let me know if you are interested, I have all the supplies, just need someone to help. I put a poster up at Appalachian Pet Tails today and they continue to share on their fb page, Becket and Associates Veterinarians put a poster up and have handouts to give to customers. When we were waiting at Staples to have the poster printed a woman who works at UPS asked for a poster, said she would copy it and give it to all her Glastonbury drivers. Staples put a poster in their break room. Word is getting out about Honey, praying for sighting!
Evelyn N. replied:
Some other ideas for postering if not yet done - the side streets off Main that go down towards the river - the dog park - JB Williams - behind academy school - local bike shops
Lauren M. replied:
Don't forget the two pet stores in town Pet Smart and Pet Co. And put them up in Whole Foods. That place is always packed in Saturday
Has anyone used Holmdel veterinary clinic for a spay? I'm looking for a vet that participants with friends of the animals!
Thanks!
Sandra J. replied:
That's my vet and I loved them. Dr Mittreman passed away and I haven't met the new owners, so can't speak to it now.
Lisa S. replied:
Try Home Vet. Great doctors and staff
Gina A. replied:
I got my pup spayed there and they were great, however Dr. Garcia has left there and now makes house calls... It may be home vet... Don't know about the new owners but try Dr. Garcia
Thanks for the add.

I recently helped an innocent 3 year old chihuaha mix find a wonderful home..His owners who live in Pa. were about to bring him to a Vet to have him put down because he was an incovenience!!! Right across the street from this Vet was a free Sanctuary...they did not gave a damn...thru the Grace of God my friend John spoke at his church and Daisy is now living happily with four other buddies with a pet loving family...I'm a New Yorker..never heard of a Vet putting down a young pet for no reason without at loeast trying to foster him..I love Tri_State Vet in Port Jervis, N.Y. they would NEVER do that...The Vets in Pa. do NOT take payment plans either..pay up front only....unless someone can tell me of one in Betholehem that does...Just terrible what people do...really!
