I need to see a physical therapist for some low back issues, and I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation. Thanks!

I second that manual therapy techniques are very helpful. Amy Snyder at PT Plus in the Third Ward: "Continuously enhancing her education and manual therapy skills, Amy has Dry Needling certification through Myopain Seminars. She also specializes in advanced manual therapy techniques including, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Strain-Counter Strain, Cranial-Sacral Therapy and Primal Reflex Release Technique". I did dry needling on several occasions and, while it can be painful in certain spots, it did wonders for knots that I've developed as a result of misalignment in my back and hips.

Alliant PT on Clarke and MLK. I used to work there. Great staff and service!

Lori Moss at Columbia St. Mary's. She's terrific.

Maurice Dumit at INVIVO is thee best PT I have ever had (and I've seen many ovr the years). Cannot recommend him more highly! Super hands on--not afraid to get in there with the MANUAL THERAPY whereas many I've seen just want to do ultrasound and e-stim machines (tho he can do those too). I think he may even have a doctorate degree in manual therapy. I also second the use of acupuncture alongside PT.
If any one could get me connected to a physical therapist/ athletic trainer/exercise physiology either in south east Minnesota or central Wisconsin....that would be...
From a parent:
Need recommendations on physical therapists in the Milwaukee area who will work with a chiropractor.
My daughter's current pt doesn't feel comfortable...

THank you all. We see Dr. Shiels in Brookfield. He is definitely not a DC that thinks he can cure her or gives her back adjustments (we had one of those) but this DNS seems to make sense and seems quite similar to PT. I am little frustrated since he spoke with my PT a couple of weeks ago but when I called today to get an update regarding my daughter's PA, she finally said that she was not comfortable with the situation. It seems silly that you can't get your medical team to work together cause in the end it isn't about philosophies or egos, it's about the child. Sorry, for the mom vent.
Do you know any Physical Therapists who might like to work in Minnesota? I'm helping a client with the recruitment for a position in the Mankato / Mapleton area. ...
